  6. Saturday 20th July 13 Barrontop Fun Farm are hosting a Lurcher,Terrier and Whippet Dog Show and Raceday on Saturday the 20th July2013 . All the usual classes, lovely Trophys, and Cash Prizes for each of the Overall winners. A donation will be made to the Foyle Hospice from the proceeds of this show. Entry Fee will be £4 and £2 to show or race your dog.   10. Tullylish Working Terrier Club Sunday 7th July 13 Tullylish Working Terrier Club are pleased to announce they will be running a Dog show on Sunday 7th July. There will be simulated Coursing for Whippets and Lurchers. Showing for Terriers, Lurchers, Whippets and Strong Dogs. After the showing there will be weight pulling for Strong Dogs and Straight Racing for Lurchers, Whippets and Terriers.   12. I must say this was the highlight of the day for me.I never laughed and cheered so much in a very long time. What sport and excitement did these little creatures bring to the show. I think I would of preferred the show ring, to be down around the dog show ring area somewhere.There were quite a few people missed them. They dident know it was taking place in the main arena area .   14. Congratulations to the Winner of the Master Mc Grath at Shanes Castle yesterday, and also Congratulations to all the rest of the Racing winners. A big thank you to Albertj Tittering and the NILRC for a great days Racing. A job well done. A big thank you also to all the generous people at the show yesterday who give all their loose change to a collection for the Greyhound that was found on the road in Northern Ireland with its ears Cut off.   17. Have only come down to earth this evening, after yesterday at Shanes Castle. I was selected for " Irish Country Sports and Country Life Magazine lifetime Commitment award" for my contribution to country sports and write ups, at a Press Reception for the launch of the Great Games Fairs of Ireland at Shanes Castle Co Antrim. The presentation of a beautiful crystal decanter was made to me by the Director of The Great Game Fairs of Ireland, Mr Albertj Titterington.
