    Only 2 more sleeps to Birr Castle Game Fair this Saturday and Sunday 31st Aug 13 and Sunday 1st Sept 13. Racing Saturday Showing/Digging/and Five Nations on Sunday.     Dog Show in Rathnew Co Wicklow Sunday 25th August 13 Rathnew, meaning “The Ring Fort of Naoi “ is a village in Co Wicklow, located south of the capital of Dublin, along the M11 between Dublin and Wexford. Famous for its Gaelic Football , the village of Rathnew football team has won the Wicklow Senior Provincial Championship 30 times, the most recent being 2010. This was the venue and beautiful scenic location for the Charity Dog Show and Racing on Sunday 25.8.13. We were up with the dawn chorus at 5.15am, dogs and car loaded up , and headed for Mc Donalds in Newry, to meet up with all

    All done foxhunter and ready for the road in the morning. Rathnew Wicklow. All meeting at Mc Donalds in Newry at 7.30am in the morning and heading in convoy to Wicklow, so if one gets lost, we all get lost. Its called follow the leader.     For people coming from the North of Ireland, take the 1st turnoff past the Airport turnoff. This will bring you unto the M50. Follow the M50 and then join the N11. it's a straight run down. When you reach the N11 you take junction R772 for Rathnew. Rathnew is 5km outside of Wicklow town. For those coming from the south you follow the Waterford/Wexford road until you reach the N11.. You follow the N11 until you pass the Beehive pub which is located on the right hand side. You take the next junction after the Beehive Pub Please note that the show will be very well sign posted from

Where abouts is Rathnew in Co Wicklow, What town is it near, ( next turn off after the Airport turnoff brings you unto the M50) What turn off would you take coming from : Belfast/Armagh Coming the other way also from the Cork side of the provience,what turnoff do they take. When we get to Rathnew, where exactly is the venue of the show in Rathnew. Your help and directions would be much appreciated by many people, as I have had several emails and phone calls ye
