    Started off from home earley last Sunday morning the 9th June. Met up with a few friends along the way,stopped off at Mc Donalds in Newry for breakfast and continued on our journey to the lady on our Sat Nav informed us we were coming the end of the motorway. As we approached our destination, deep in the roaming Dundalk countryside, there nestled in the bed of the beautiful Cooley Mountains was the venue for the 2nd annual Farney Harriers Dog show and Race day.     Man O War Lurcher,Terrier and Whippet Show Sunday 16th June Man O War lurcher, Terrier, and Whippet show will take place at the usual venue, field opposite Clay Lake, on the Keady Castleblaney Rd, This Sunday 16th June 2013. This show will be run under NILRC rules. An added extra this Sunday will be the "Digging Competition ".     Woke up last Saturday morning 8th June 13 to the sound of the dawn chorus reminding me the day for the North Down Lurcher & Terrier Club (Working Dog Show) Charity Event had finally arrived. It was time for us to get our feet out on the floor, dogs in trailer, and head for Movilla Road, Newtownards Co Down. They say the sun only shines on Gods people, well he certainly dished it out on Saturday in abundance for this show.     Another great show last Saturday. Again brilliant organisation and brilliant judging. I think the younger you are the better ideas come out , and Leanne you definately went the right way about it. Your show was a credit to Chris and yourself, and may you continue the good work.     The best show I have been to in a long time. Organisation was just meticilous and the craic was mighty.Real good astomphere, Brilliant Judging, from John Rooney and Jed Donagh, and oodles of Prizes and Dog meal. We have enough dog meal to do us for a fortnight. Roll on next year. Also thanks to Rochelle Duffy for your kindness, you are a real lady. Hope to meet up with you shortly.     Sporting Whippet Club N.I. Show / Race Day Last Sunday 2nd June 13 Had a brilliant day out last Sunday at the Sporting Whippet Club NI, 2nd Show of the year, held at Dunsilly, Co Antrim. There was not a cloud in the sky, as we set up the rings and prepared for the influx of Whippet men and women and their beautiful Whippets. This was to be the start of a great days showing and Racing. There were some lovely cups and trophys to be won, and were well displayed for all to see.     Minerock Harriers Hunt Club are holding their annual Dog Show this Sunday 2nd June 2013 in Caim, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. I was down at this show two years ago and boy what a show and Race day.
