Richard Hunters Show, Saturday 17th August 13 SWATRAGH, a village in the county of Londonderry, sits on the river Clady, and makes up part of the scenic Northern coastline, with its sea breezes blowing across from beautiful Portrush and Portstewart. This was the venue for Richard Hunters Dog Show and Race day Saturday 17th August 13. Although there were a few showers, it did not dampen the spirits of the show goers, who came out in force to support this great charity Dog Show and Race day. There was a nice friendly crowd at the show, some old faces and some new.Some great craic

Sunday 25th August 13 The All Ireland 32 Counties Champions of Champions will be held at the Wicklow Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet Show in conjunction with the North West Terrier and Lurcher Club,Strabane Co Tyrone on the 25th August in Rathnew Co Wicklow. The champion Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet on the day will qualify for the All Ireland 32 Counties Champions of Champions, which will take place after the show. Judging will start @

Albert, It would be nice if you could include the Whippet fraternity in the 5 Nations at Birr Castle in 2014. There are excellent Whippets and Whippet owners all around the country and further afield all rearing to go and to be part of the run up to the 5 Nations. Its time the Whippet community can take their place along side all the good Terrier and Lurcher folk of this country and further afield. I would appreciate if you could give this request some serious thought and consideration, and offer qualifiers for Whippets on an equal par for the 5 Nations 2014. Look forward to your re

Sporting Whippet Club NI Dog Show and Race day last Sunday 11th August 13 Was awakened bright and early last Sunday morning the 11th August 13 by the sound of “The Dog Chorus “ making the whole neighborhood aware it was their day out at the Sporting Whippet Club NI dog show and race day at Dunsilly Kennells Co Antrim. We arrived in the field at 10.30am with our Whippets in tow. Immediately I knew there was something up. All roads lead this weekend to Swathragh, to Richard Hunters show. Richard is holding a dog show and Raceday this Saturday 17th August 13 in the grounds of Swathragh Mart, Co Derry.
