    Shannagh Working Terrier,Lurcher, and Whippet Show Sunday 4th August 13. Seaforde Road is situated near the village of Clough, Downpatrick, County Down and some 20 miles south east of Belfast, and about 15 miles from the Mountains of Mourne whose distinctive profile 'sweeping down to the sea' are visible on the southern horizon. With Sat Navs buzzing and phones ringing, we eventually found and arrived at our destination, Shannagh, which was the show venue Sunday 4th August 13.     Sligo Dog Show and Race day. Located in the scenic area between Ben Bulben mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, lies the village of Grange Co Sligo. This was the venue for last Saturdays Lurcher, Terrier,and Whippet Dog Show . The sun was shining for most of the day, backed up with a wealth of craic and banter . There was a large contingent of Canine folk from Northern Ireland with dogs and trailers in towe.     Have all ready now for an early start to Sligo dog show tomorrow, Cant wait. Will be a great family day out, so bring along the children , the dogs and yourself for all the fun of the fair.     Deep in the heart of the beautiful Derrytresk /Coalisland Countryside, with the smell of newly cut turf in the bogs oozing out at us,with the waters from the shore line of magnificent Lough Neagh flowing into our view, This was the scenery that came upon us en route to the Dublin Working Terriers Club dog show and race day Sunday, run by Tom Barry at FeaghBridge Racing Track , Derrytresk, Coalisland.
