  2. I have shot 3 seven pointers and one with 3 antlers but i had a client out 2 years ago and he shot an eleven pointer on myground i have videoed him shooting it.
  3. People keep harping on about killing fox cubs god knows i,ve killed more than my fair share and revell in it .but the BIG difference here is the damage mum and dad have done to feed the little bast55rds to any size. Just look around the hole enterence. Also i will have tried every means of getting mum and dad before i deal with the litter.FOXES do damage at every stage in thier life either directly or in directly. And should be killed at every oppertunity. I am involved in deer management and know this gose on but little bambi was a long way from doing any damage and a photo of this nature Sho
  4. Nice bag i'm afraid our lass would have had to go on her own only twice have i given in in 17 years one saturday to get a wedding ring i missed a very good hare drive and then on honeymoon in scotland threatend to take a rifle but then decided not to. Anyway well done.

  6. Not to uncommon but a very nice head all the same
  7. you,ve jinxed me mate had a buck tonight shot 18m from a high seat make it 10m into a massive bramble bank after a good shoulder shot. 2 hours later 3men 2 dogs no joy totally inpenetrable (unless your a wounded deer). scratched a knettled up to my armpits totally disgruntled but have done all i can for tonight. lousy but we have done all we can!!!!!!!!
  8. Here in yorkshire the rut started about two weeks ago but still has,nt got into full swing i think the crap weather and lack of stubble fields isnt helping.Am now out with a client for two days so will update you then.
  9. we have had one deer a bronze medal wounded at almost dark only time he used to come out of a reed bed.(gut shot) back next morning with the dogs. could,nt find him. anyways found him 4 days later by smell we had over looked him in the reed beds as he was partly submersed. perhaps 3 more gut shot all recovered think thats it. luckily the bad shots were clean misses. and also unless they are very close and i know the clients form we only shoot boiler hse on broadside roe and only at 120m max.(im sure this has helped)
  10. only reply to barry j questions only telling him what he wanted to know. that i have plenty of experience ,was,nt undermining him, and hoping to have some input. Thank god for that! I thought you were trying to undermine me!!! So what makes you a PRO? Do you make say £110k year stalking or what? or just £60 a stalk wanna be?
  11. see yourself www.yorkshiredeerstalking.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3KPnJbii9s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCMV3uy4IsI I take 3-8 clients out a week./90% of my income is now stalking related and i am an accredited witness. I own the above company and employ up to 2 other stalkers to take out clients for me. this year since feb 10th we have shot 73 roe and had 9 misses. regards john.

  15. been watching another buck chasing a doe tonight after a quick call to a local client game on, no guessing where im going in the morning
  16. Having a difficult time not only locating deer but getting one in the open, it was with some relief to see a buck chasing a doe this morning within 10 minutes of arrival. Anyway 20 minutes later they had'nt re-emergrged so a gentle stalk another 100m to a vantage point produced nothing either. A further 30 minutes waiting were i was looking at a buck last week still nothing a call then another burst, nowt. "bug**r"..... Now stalking in slow motion then stopping every 100m for a call produced a blank. Till we came to another productive vantage point. 20minutes of silence and then a call...
  17. You guest already he never showed!!!!!!!
  18. Out last night on an armed recon, Walked around a biggish wood never saw anything then just as it was getting dark decided to look in the far field. On arrival the light now going quick i crawled through the hedge carefully and gently stood up. there to my left about 150m were the shapes of 2 deer. Looking through my Lecia bins i immediatly thought wow,(now when i think wow that is usually a good sign). It was a massive buck with a young doe. I crept up the hedge another 35m and put the cross hairs on him. *rolleyes* No he was to good for me and with a regular client from north wales up
