  2. 1 tablespoon of neat aniseed oil to 1 litre of sunflower oilper 1 ton of wheat. try putting a bag or two of cracked or whole maize with wheat. A1 feeds do a holding spice 18 quid for 5 ton its very good in powder form.

  4. Went out this morning mainly to deliver the last of the venison (I had butchered 3 deer and they were in the chiller running out of time, needed to be eaten or frozen).   5. I am aware of differing heads in different areas and am genuinley intersted in local populations. my local yorkshire deer tend to be long delicate and good points little pearling and not much span.

I did it another way, trainee keeper on a YTS then keepering for 20+years off and on then going on to set up my own company taking paying clients out and culling myself at times/still keepering part time just to keep my hand in. again good luck.

  13. I find any noise a cough whistle bark (fart) will stop a deer if it unawares in full flight just try what comes to mind nothing usually works.

After meeting my client we went to meet the foxing boys, setting them on we left and were heading for a high seat were the deer frequent alot, it also over looks a release pen so good chance of charlie This chap is as lucky as they come shooting 2 nice bucks in 2 outings both before 7 a.m. Can he make it 3 for 3??   18. clients using my rifle use privvy 139 factory slow but very accurate in my gun no meat damage little recoil and reliable expansion. i use nosler 125g partition over 46g h414 and a cci250 primer deadly and fast in a 20"tube 2890fps. the shot at the top was a clean barrel and a factory, the 2 holes in the bull are 3 shots (nice)
  19. Firstly im sorry no video again and it would have been fab must get it looked at. A new client and a new chap to the sport wanted to come a shoot a deer just to try it. Well we would have a go on the shoot this morning where max had seen 3 bucks on sunday morning ,we might also get a fox which would please the keeper alot (ME) Arriving at my house at 5.10 we set off for the shoot. Pulling down the driveway and past the stables we parked and slipped out of the truck.   21. you should only realy worm once infected as it runs a course. unless like me you only have medicated grub left as had no need to use it. if you worm to soon when only 1 or 2 are coughing you cure them but the incubation period exceeds the treatment so others can pick it up . unless realy bad wait till say 10% are coughing then medicate you should get the lot!!!

  23. It had been in for a warranty repair i think obviously stripped and not put back together i.e no firing pin?? He obviously not checked the gun for zero since repair tough.

Out this morning with a client leaving my house for 5.10 a 15 minute drive to the ground. a lovely dawn, and in the half light we set up a terget against some bales. there was time to have a shot at this end of the estate before we set off. take your time i said, click went the rifle, oh i thought an empty chamber. he cycled the bolt and a live round fell out! upon inspection it had'nt been struck. trying for a second time click again. something was wrong?? we stripped the bolt out and looked at everything , nothing was wrong. then looking at the bolt face i could'nt see any sign of the
