  6. Hey Paul hows you? Yeah all good my end, the lurchers doing ok, just got myself a plummer pup so looking forward to a bita bushing with them both when he gets older, struggling finding time to go ferreting and the winters are so short and mild down here the seasons over and the rabbits are having young before you know it! Hows that new lurcher of your?
  7. Hello, I have a hardly used Mk3m (magnetic) ferret finder with one collar, all works perfectly and in great condition (i still even have the magnet thingy that goes on a key ring, looks like a little hammer) , would like to swap for a lightforce striker 170 lamp and battery, variable power would be ideal and a filter would be good but just let me know what ya got. Swapping as finding time for ferreting is a real struggle but lamping in the evenings is a lot easier. Face to face im afraid as I have been ripped off on here before. I live in Exeter Devon, happy to meet half way within reason.
  8. Shame your getting rid mate, he really is a grand looking dog when ive seen him in the flesh! Good luck finding him a home and congrats!!
  9. Rare breed poultry, you need to find a niche market, hens are becoming very popular. This place started near me not that long ago, they seem to be doing pretty good http://moonridgefarm.co.uk/ Oh and some Rhea, not sure theres much of a market but there cool!
  10. Looks pretty similar to my bitch, different colour (mines more sandy but her bro is very similar in colour) and I think my bitches coat might be a bit thicker/longer Shes got some well known names in her past but cant remember off the top off my head? have a look when Im home next. Hopefully ive remembered how to post pics?
  11. Yeah mine swims in the sea prob 3/4 times a week, never have any problems with fleas either, guessing its the salt water putting them off
  12. My bitch is about 1/4 pharaoh hound, I think there very similar, shes pretty tough and plenty of prey drive! Luckily she quiet when out, can be a noisey cow when home though and gets excited, so much so im thinking of getting one of those anti bark spray collars, does my bloody head in!
  13. I walk the dog on the beach lots and she loves the water! Like said before can run for much longer due to not over heating in warm weather, also I figure the whole action of running in and out having to push through the water must be good exercise, was also once told that running on sand is very good exercise, like when you try running or walking on sand its bloody knackering, perticually on dry sand
  14. hi mate this is my whippxgrey hes very fast i use him on rabbitsvand he take foxs all dayexelent jumper and easy to train Nice looking dog fox caller! Guessing hes the one you got up on the stud section, any more pics?

  16. how do you get a 'mixpod' number for your profile music?

  17. Nice! That one dog makes the other two look like a pair of fat labs!
  18. What ever you get mate its worth getting a dimmer id say, love mine makes all the differance for sneaking up
  19. Well, all I can say is that you have led a sheltered life The dog in my avatar is about 1/4 Saluki: a good all round worker. Her dam was probably one of the best dogs I've ever owned: genuine s/h 3/3 hare dog in her youth, excellent lamp dog and top notch fox dog: worked with terriers until she was 9 years old, took everything single handed and can still put in a short day's graft out bushing or beating at 10 1/2 years old. What else is in her breeding skycat? and obviously all dogs are different but on average how much saluki blood does a dog need to make a noticable differance to stam
  20. You thought of a well bred whippet if its just rabbits ya after?
  21. Nice one mate, She is a handy looking bitch! good luck finding them good homes Hows that bull x of yours getting on?
