  4. Nae risk at all mate, if it all went wrong you could advertise it on here along with all the other pups, that ''have seen nothing, just dont have the time for it, i split with my bird'' pish we see on here month after month. at the end of the day it's your pup fuc* it up if you want, but please use a wee bit of discression when your bragging about it. Yours in sport Pernod.
  5. Hi mate ive got the same breed of lurcher 14 month old bitch great dog and fast, google Norfolk tumbler, some people on here dont no what there talking about. Hi mate, youve got an alright looking dog there, I am a bit of a newbie regarding lurchers, so what is the difference between a tumbler and a normal lurcher, is it a specific breed, is it a running style, what exactly is the difference. Are they more effective rabbit catchers, or is it a style that is more suited to a certain terrain. i'm genuinely interested. Googling it doesnt give much info. if yous guys have them it woul

  10. Hi all, As a follow on from Am backs post stating that there were not many well bred terriers north of the border. Here is a pic of the 'pedigree/breeding of an old terrier i owned. Sadly he died last year aged 15. I know breeders have been known to embelish pedigrees to help sell pups, but in my mind the breeder involved would not have/ nor would have needed to. I know its a long shot but it would be nice to hear from anyone who had pups from the same litter or breeding. It was a while ago but i think the pup came from Ambleside, breeders initials BH I hope the pic is clear enough
  11. Hi mate, I think you need to get out more or get yourself some good digging mates if you think there is not much north of the border. I think you would be pleasantly suprised with some of the breeding up here. Yours in sport Pernod. awrite pal firstly i said theres not much up here true genuine workers ,not your wee pissy bayers.there is still some of us with lines going back to proper dogs ,as for getting out more youre funny Hi again mate, perhaps i didnt put my first post accross as i intended. 14. shame mate would of been a good addition to my other lurcher. Hi mate, dont want to appear rude, but what the fu** use would a sheep muncher be to you. You could never guarantee you wouldnt be on land with sheep. the lad done the right thing. Surely your not that desperate for a dog that one that proved untrainable would suffice. Cheers Pernod
  15. Hi there, Heres a pup i have, he's collie/grey X whippet(7.5 mths), 9 months old now and would try the patience of a saint. Cheere Pernod
  16. I'd be assuming by the age of it that it would have a name already ????????????????? Cheers Pernod
  17. Come on Joball, youre well aware that its only bull crosses that are of interest to novices and antis/trolls. 'real'(for want of a better word) lurcher breeds and work doesnt interest them. Yours in sport Pernod
  18. Hi mate, The simple answer is to cage the pup when your not there, and if you are there to scold it anytime it tries to pee indoors. Using the cage only takes a few days with most pups. Cheers Pernod
  19. Hi there, love the paintings, Here's one a neighbour done of my three dogs. He did it as a gift for help i had given him. Sadly all three dogs are now long gone, but it was a lovely gesture and has pride of place in our sitting room. Please excuse the poor pic quality it was taken on my mobile. Cheers Pernod
  20. Hi mate, Hows about a bit more info :- What type of dog do you own ? Is it a pet, show pony, or potential worker ? what do your 'friends' see in the dog that makes them want to breed from it ? what age are your 'friends'? Are we talking about daft boys here or adults that are clueless? Is this a wind up ? The fact that you asked this question in an open forum is a plus point, it shows that you yourself think that the idea is stupid(I hope) Cheers Pernod
  21. Hi mate, heres a picture of my whippet X collie/grey hes 7.5 months in the pic and 23''TTS and 46lb. Cheers Pernod

  24. Go for it mate, If you cant be arsed to read up on the breed, and read a few of the terrier posts on here to help you decide what type/breed of terrier would best suit your working needs, then i'm sure you'll get what you deserve. Cheers Pernod
  25. Dogs do best when fed a diet that includes the right amount of protein, fat and carbohydrate to meet their individual metabolic requirement, raw meat alone does not do that likewise many completes will also fail to do so. Some raw diets will overload the dogs system with bacteria which just adds another stressor, hence my rejection of pets minces etc. Basically it is a balance so the idea that raw is the answer doesn’t add up, that’s not biased science just basic text book science. Balance and inclusion not bigotry and exclusion. If you feed what you believe to be “shit that comes in a b
