  1. Iv got a pair of these. Iv worn them pretty much every day for a year and a half and so far got no complaints. Paid 50 for them, for that price i didnt think they would last a year. Comfy, light, warm, waterproof (I use Urad mr jojo on them after i clean them) Id defo recomend them as a low budget boot.
  2. Yep its all local people who are keen for a good walk really. and my little brother and usually some of his mates. Gota have some little kids to send through the really thick brambles

  6. got to agree with you bolio...Like you said each to there own... Its like these folk who go out in numbers on drives, killing ex amount of hares. to me it seems a total waste and barbaric but to them they love it.. Same as the shooter boys, they get off on shoting hares, even tho it is the easiest thing to hit sat out in the middle of a field.... We dont agree with lamping hares. Everyone has there preference. At the end of the day the hardest way to catch a hare is with a dog in day light hours... Im a 'shooter boy' and i assume your refering to the several posts abo
  7. rough shooting is one of the best ways to test your shooting in my oppinion because you have more things to think about! i love it
  8. Yeah you could put a switch on the glow plugs so you can manually turn them on for a few seconds
  9. Feel i should add that i dont actually have a wife and kids, but i would imagine it would be cramped lol
  10. Im a loyal fourtrak fan/owner but their down side is there isnt that much room in them if you have the wife, kids, dogs etc all in it at the same time. (But i love them, im on my third one )
  11. I wouldnt advise an xtrail im afraid. All the ones iv come in contact with have been very unreliable and have a host of problems, turbos, head gaskets, oil cooler seals etc. Discos are a decent truck and good offroad but they are certainly not free from mechanical issues. Oh and id also steer clear of freelanders! But between and xtrail and a disco, disco all the way! ATB
  12. i agree. 5 months is too young to be shot over

  14. Must be your area! Round my way everyone and there mums is packing heat lol
  15. Im retty relaxed about people bringing their dogs on our shoot. I dont want them running riot from the start of a drive but im happy for them to be let off near the end of a drive. Also remember if your dog is not 100% there is no shame in having it on a lead by your side. Its all good experience for it remember. ATB Sam
  16. Guess people have different traditions dont they!
  17. We dont ever shoot anything on a sunday. Not because of legalities, just traditionally round my way we leave the birds alone on a sunday. ATB and happy shooting
