  1. No Darren, he's set a trap and covered it over with earth,the rabbit with step on trip plate and set the trap off and become caught in trap jaws.

  7. The ones my late Dad used are still in his shed,they are covered in a wooden block,I don't think they are coloured differently, his old shed is like an Aladdin's cave! Hi mate , abit off topic , but we lost my father inlaw last year and he has 3 sheds full of handy tools and bits n pieces . Its a terrible shame they are not with us anymore and not nice to go in their sheds , but at least we can use their lifetimes worth of handy things and remember them with a little smile now and then. Hi Patrick, I can't see an individual coming forward, reason being you've only posted one post and the probability you could be an Anti could run very high.Are you making a film/documentary or photographs only?Hunting is a complex area,wouldn't you be better off just concentrating on wildlife species?That way I'm sure the Natural Resources Wales would lend a hand.But if hunting is what you want go out tomorrow and buy a weekly paper called The Countryman's Weekly.

  11. I do have an oilstone, my late Dad was a carpenter and if I remember he use to do figure of eights to sharpen knives,found the bladetec OK with my opinels,but is this blade not stainless or carbon?
  12. I've acquired a Browning knife, I think its a air force? Can't quite make writing out,anyone know anything about these and I ran my blade tec over it but didn't seem to sharpen?any better way of sharpening, blade is quite thick.

  14. I quite like the sea it has an amazing de-stressing effect on me but not as much as the countryside and there are more people here especially in the summer which can get annoying. The rugged coastlines here are quite spectacular. We can jump over the gate at the back, walk through a little dell and pop out at the beach. It doesn't take much more of a walk to be completely secluded. We compromised on a coastal village because we have a child and wanted her to be able to play out with friends but I would have much preferred to be in the middle of nowhere, you don't have to drive far inland to f
  15. I know everyone's different but some people choose to retire to the coast/seaside, to me the sea is the sea whatever time of year.
