  1. Mate CZ as everyone says cracking rifle, I have the HMR which I think is great value for money On my 10/22 rim fire I got my scope from JR Ramsbottom on the web, take a look at this link this is what I have had for the last 3 years and its been a great scope for the money certainly nowhere near £200.00! http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/riflescopes-jsr-optics/jsr3940px-jsr-3-9x40-px-adj-pro-illuminated-riflescope.html Good Luck SEEKER
  2. Never owned one but a lot of my mates started with a lanber its a cracking gun. Me I started with a £200 Larouna and i loved it wish i'd never sold it now What ever you decide upon just make sure it fits you well and if you have the chance take it to try on a few clays and see how you go on. Good luck mate SEEKER

  6. May offend who? I have no wish to enter into a debate on politics but isnt Cameron the only candidate of the 3 main parties actually pro hunting?? Clegg is a light weight opposed to hunting and Brown is from the party that brought in the hunting act in the 1st place? Maybe just me then............
  7. We need a change In my opinion the simple answer is if a foriegner wants to work over here fine...BUT NO housing benifits, NO free NHS, NO council tax benifits or any of that shite until they have paid income tax and NH contribution to this country for a minimum of 2 years. Lets see how many want to live/work over here then? My young son broke his arm recently and it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to get him seen to in A&E waiting behind 60% of people who couldnt even speak English. Ive grafted my balls off for the last 25 years paying taxes etc and for what?
  8. Well said, Labour are no longer a working mans party.
  9. I have no idea of the correct proceedure, all I can say is my 10/22 I used to clean after EVERY outing but suffered with a lot of jamming. I use this rim fire every week. I stopped cleaning it and now suprisingly hardly have any jams at all?? This to me seems totally the opposite of what should happen but thats my experience so to answer your question I dont clean my rim fire until its absolutely needed... Cheers Seeker.
  10. South Yorkshire Police dont allow 22 rimmy or 17HMR for Fox Cheers Seeker
  11. I cant see why it would take so long, I had some land passed and although it took a couple of months at the end of the day its only a firearms officer that needs to take a walk round. They wouldnt meet me for the land check they just informed the owner when they were arriving. Fortunately I now have an open cert but my advice would be to keep on at them, politely explaining that the land owner is having a problem with pests and he wants you to get cracking.......Good luck mate SEEKER
  12. The little w**kers What would they get out of it???
  13. Just had my fire arms license opened up, they wanted a letter from my mate who I shoot with who has had an open ticket for 5 years to support my request. It was granted......

  16. There is no other way than to go knocking on doors but remember its a trust thing. Put yourself in their shoes would yout let a perfect stranger walk round your farm with a rifle? I have known farmers infested with rabbits but they still wouldnt want people they dont know on. Its not easy but most of us have had to do it (and still do), keep trying and you will get there and when it does happen a bottle of whisky as a thank you each year doesnt go a miss
  17. Have a look at this Colin and anyone who doubts the threat posed by islam, scary shit. That is one scary video  The left and muslims have tried to say this vid is wrong[obviously]but its been done using scientific/historical research.
  18. Agree most Indians are good people, Remember many Indians fought alongside us in WW2 who on this site would have anything to say against the Gurkas? not me that for sure
  19. I sort of agree but it's not a case of what you have a right to, but what you require. If you have a genuine reason to own a particular calibre and amount of ammunition you will have no problems. If you just fancy a .223 or whatever because it is cool and you want 3000 rounds for the sake of it (slight poetic license here) then you will have to justify yourself. Oh, and I would suggest that a .308 is more dangerous than an air rifle, back stop or not I agree with the above You do not have the rightto a Firearms Certificate, you have to provide a Good Reason to acquire it an
  20. Hi Ive got a 10/22 semi auto and Ive got to say Im happy with it, I have suffered a few frustrating jams but this is always the spent case not ejecting quick enough which is probably a cleaning issue, although saying that the less I clean it the less jams i seem to have I didn't like the wooden stock so i bought a Hogue synthetic stock from rimfire magic for about £.00 and its much better as I only really use mine for bunnies so Im often climbing over walls and fences etc and its much harder wearing. I put a Parker Hale mod on it and its quieter than most air rifles Ive had. As for

I wonder if Mr Mason had realised what total tw@ts the RSPCA would be once they received his £480K donation would he have left it to them in the 1st place? I think not, then again the British public is totally brain washed with this cr@p. How many times do you watch TV and some advert comes on "for just £2.00 per month you could help save.................." Boll*cks to them all.
