No matter how hard he tried to forget about it he couldn't the guilt and sense of betrayal were over whelming, but every now and again he heard a re-assuring voice in his head that said. " Don't worry about it Dave, you aren't the 1st medical practitioner to sleep with one of his patients and you wont be the last, just let it go" But invariably another voice in his head would bring him back to reality whispering....     As per other posts air rifles are definitely not appropriate for fox. I have a .22 rim fire and a 17HMR neither of these are endorsed by South Yorkshire Police Licensing for fox although I do know some authorities will allow this. Above 12ft lb as suggested you will need a FAC. Good luck mate

    Yeah I read it in the paper, apparently his wife was out of the car but struggling to swim and his son was in the car which was sinking (he could only make out the rear tail lights under the water). He had to make a choice risk losing them both or save his wife. I can not even begin to think what that would be like....

    Bettinsoli are a good gun, I have a couple of mate who have bought one and rate them highly. If you don't want to spend too much and want a cheaper alternative have you considered a Lanber as a 1st gun?

    Glad to hear you guys have no problems, I can only compare to a mate of mine, 18 months ago he bought one brand new and had nothing but problems with it sent it back to the shop 3 times, in the end he got his money back.........

    I have a CZ .17hmr great rifle very accurate use mainly 17g V MAX. For the money in my opinion you'd br hard pressed to find a better HMR rifle for the money. For a .22 I have a Ruger 10/22 I really like this rifle but I can confirm jamming is an issue, Its usually the spent cartridge case not clearing the ejector properly (approx one every 20-30 rounds) which can be a little annoying to say the least I dont think cleaning is the problem as this can happen with a newly clean action and barrel so Im still trying to work the cause out.

    By all accounts these are excellent, was going to get one myself for wildfowling but they don't make a left handed version, went for a Super Black Eagle in the end and highly recommend this gun. 3.5" chamber and VERY reliable. Good luck mate

    Thanks to all, It's over a year now since I took up the rimfires again, I felt any 12g would give me trouble so only renewed my FAC. I must be missing at least 90 of shooting oportunities by being limited to the .17 and .22. No pigeons magpies or even squirel. So I am going to try something. A couple of the best farms do have good shooting but you know the issue, neighbours that are anti, yet I can sit out there of an evening with the .22 and they don't even realise I'm there, hence the desire to try something quieter. I'll get the cert redone, What's the legal position re borowin

    Have to agree with the Benelli, I have a synthetic Super Black Eagle 3.5" and its just so reliable . I must admit I did consider the Beretta Extrema but Im a lefty so not an option as Beretta dont accommodate.....

    That'll do it, had the same happen with my rim fire couldnt hit a cows arse at 10 yards then realised the moderator was loose, tightened up problem solved! Hope it works for you
