Vinegar is a good organic herbicide witch could be worth a try.If not i would continue with what your doing digging them out and making sure you are taking the full root with the plant.Then try a weedkiller over a period of time in the spring when your grass is growing. do a search on google there are alot of good gardening hints and tips if you have a look around. atb shaun

  7. Back when i started out ferreting one of my pals used springers and they where a useful tool to have when out.They had a cracking nose and pushed a lot of quarry out from the cover(but that's expected from the breed).In my opinion they where spot on for a days ferreting. atb shaun

From my opinion the beddyx is a great x.He runs his heart out 110% and can't fault him, As for a ferreting dog he will smash through the thickest of cover for his quarry.To be honest he isn't being run to his true potential from the lack of game about.But on land thriving with game I'm sure he would leave his mark. atvb shaun

I agree with that gafer but there are still a fair share of good beddyx about.But to see the breed run in it's prime in the old days would have been a sight to see.Wanting to know where the make up of this breed came about ect?
