  4. had one a few years back freelander 1 25.000 miles on the clock blew the head gasket got it fixed traded it in for another one had it 2 years went to trade that in all they gave us for it was 1800 quid :sick:

  7. go down the scrappy get an old pre engaged starter motor cut the end off it with a grinder clamp it into a frame thread the end of the shaft get an old wire spool attach to the threaded end of the shaft .wire it up to the battery via a toggle on off switch that's you sorted will cost you about £20/30 and an hour of your time:thumbs: or contact mark at parkstone whippets he was selling them a while back atb chester http://www.parkstonewhippets.co.uk/

  9. be careful about them calls mate i had bother way that before they kept asking me to confirm my account details over the phone and i kept telling them that they had contacted me so they must have the details on the computer screen and fecked them off this happened 2/3 times a week for a few months .i went in to hsbc and was told not to give any details out over the phone if hsbc had anything to talk to me about it would be a letter asking me to make an appointment to come in and see them.

  16. good luck in finding him a new home for any of the lads looking for the dog to be brought to the main land . Hi all, I travel from Ireland to the Uk every week with race dogs. My truck is custom built with individual cages capable of taking the largests of greyhounds in complete comfort. I`m also defra and Irish dept of agriculture approved and licensed. Although most of my work is greyhounds I also transport terriers, gun dogs, lurchers, hounds etc. just about anything really. So if you need a dog or whatever transported give me a shout.   18. your probably right my kennels are draught free the dogs are off the ground on a sleep bench with some nice warm blankets to lay on and a nice warm dinner in their stomach and yet we still try and do more for them. talking to the old timers the dogs were kept in the old brick out house with a bale of straw burst open in one corner for the dog to bed down on fed on the scraps that the family didnt eat. the frost was an inch thick on the walls in the inside the dogs were worked hard to keep the family fed.never done the dogs no harm and they recon their were more good working dogs back then tha
  19. i use a heat lamp and and an oil filled radiator well i did last winter both were burning 24/7 till i got my elecy bill in of £600 quid in January had just had 2 weeks off work and the expense of xmas took a bit of time for my wallet to heal up this year i think it will be a delongy heater i will be putting in the kennel as soon as it gets to the correct temp it shuts its self down.
