Snap - yes, right call. You must have been in these triage situations. When emergency crews are on site they have to make a three way decision. If someone can survive with first aid, give quick help and move on. Then you have the hard one. If a victim is going to die walk away and let her die. If she has a chance then you do everything you can to save her. In this one the guy had a horrifying choice. If he tried to save his son and failed he would lose both. If he saved his wife then tried to save his son he could be sure of saving one and might save the other. Ric

What do you mean "vinyl records did the job"? I have 10.000 LPs and a terrifyingly expensive system to play them and they blow all this digital crap into the weeds. If there's a full-on Ice Age lack of crops is going to be the least of your problems. A kilometer or more of ice might constitute a bigger problem. And the timescale for the onset of this is a couple of decades MAX, not centuries. Ho-Ho it is to joke. When - not if, when - sea level rises by 10 metres and the total land area available for human habitation drops by 20% we will have no problem with food, at least for a while. 'Ning Ric. Going to have to run with the conspiracy theorists on this one. It is scientific fact that we are currently going through a period of cooling at the moment. I have no doubt that the "human" contribution is a factor but it certainly isn't the root cause. Deforrestation, over population, and burning fossil fuels will not help at all. However there is overwhelming evidence that we could possibly be entering into another ice age. OK, I haven't built it yet but I've done a lot of my dreaded armchair research. Mr L has said that he became concerned about .204 'cos his Howa wouldn't stabilise 40gr and he was leary about using 32gr for long-range fox, while he can use up to 55gr in his .223. Absolutely fair comment. Yet Blackfox has a nominal 1-12 twist barrel which stabilises 39gr Blitzkings. I will go for a faster twist rate barrel to ensure stabilising <40gr and Hornady 45gr SJHP. I am going to need a long range fox gun for use over the Downs. If I can use 32gr that will be a bonus, but my priority will be long range
