I will do anything to make this work. I'l stand as a local area rep or whatever. I'm just not knowledgeable enough to be one of the small group that should meet the CA or set up strategy and plans.

You seem to know what you're on about Penny, are you up for organising it ? i dont have any experience with stuff like this. It had got complicated though and i thought a simpler approach would be a better start.

getting back to basics. We all want the same. Working lurchers promoted in a positive light and the rest. there is enough interest for this to be pursued. 1. There's an open invite from the CA to meet Tim Bonner. I'm waiting on available dates from his secretary. 2. 3 folk to visit Bonner and find out what they are doing for lurchers ( we know its not a lot by his own admission) and what they are prepared to do. skycat , socks and someone else they feel comfortable going with ? ( not me for sure) 3. We have a big customer base out here thats untapped by the CA. ( money talks)

Ok i'm gonna stick my two penneth in. When this kicked off a couple of days ago i was sceptical and stated that. I quickly saw an opportunity to maybe change things for the better. The ACL in my opinion has already made its bed so to speak. There's far more to do than change a committee or decide other ways to promote lurcher work. I believe its run its course and for what ever reason has died out as a result. I want to be part of a club that can decide its own way, not have to scrabble to claw back ground and is already committed to something i may disagree with. Giro, i did answer the

You appear to be discarding a lot of other people with expertise in plenty of areas. I dont doubt some people may have expertise in the feild but who has expertise in media and communicating with national bodies? maybe persons should let us know what attributes they can bring to the table? just a bit about me. most of you wont know me from adam. Sandymere does though. I've also met snifferboy and whitevanman from here. this has to be carried forward properly and i may not be the one to do it. some of you obviously are. I'll do what i can to get things going and to keep things going. it might appear not working.... but its still going 10yrs after the ban came in. Many ,ALC members packed in when the ban came in so whats wrong with fresh people joining with a new structure and going forward with new ideas. The guys got his feet under the table already and knows his way around you cant buy experience Y.I.S Leeview this is something to consider but as yet, courser has not replied to questions asked

Thought i'd speak to Dave Sleight to see if he would support this. Dave doesn't use the internet and does have a lot on his plate currently but in future would do anything he could to help.
