  6. Brian nuttal said to me "when you get a good jack russel, they're better than any of these black uns, its just that you dont know what you're getting when you breed" I took it that he was talking about the percentage of workers in a litter. Anyway i thought it was quite something for him to say. By the way i keep black dogs.

  8. Any one got any knowledge of these vehicles ? Are they a serious 4x4 ? Thankyou.
  9. I mentioned it before during the spiderpig incident, but in light of recent threads, i'll ask again. I'm not very technical minded or computer literate, but is there a way that pictures could be submitted for approval, before going on the forum. Even if people had to wait 24-48 hours for their pics to clear, i'm sure people wouldnt mind. Thanks ff.
  10. Some interesting extracts from "The Dog" byWilliam Youatt and E.J. Lewis "but the staunchness of snowball nothing could exeed. A scotch greyhound, who at the time, had beaten everything in his own country, was brought to England, and challenged every dog in the kingdom. The challenge was excepted by Snowball, who beat him in a two mile course. The last match run by Snowball was against mr plumbers cellabrated greyhound speed, and so severely contested was it, that speed died soon afterward." "of the staunchness of the well bred greyhound, the following is a satis

Done. By the way, what have they done to countryfile ? Now its just for mountain bikers and canoers, the farming side of it has been sold out.
  16. I feel physically sick whenever i see that snake on tv, sacked from the cabinet, in disgrace, TWICE, and still able to stand up and pontificate to us. He should be facing criminal charges, and thats just for his private life. For local council i only had a choice of the main three plus the bunny hugging greens, so i wrote TRAITORS across the card and posted that. Rant over.
  17. Your dog has to have taken a lot of "bytes", he must have an extremely "hard drive", and to never have let any quarry "esc". Or else put up loads of posts.

    Hares

Well, some good news there. In my area, its a talking point if you see one. Should of added, that the ban on organised coursing wont of helped them, with landowners less willing to tolerate them ?

    Hares

Would be interesting to hear peoples thoughts on the huge decline in hare numbers. Apart from the loss of habitat and farming practices, i think the rise in buzzard numbers is affecting them, with the buzzards taking a large number of leverets. Anyone have any other ideas, as its sad to see this marvelous animal in such trouble.
  21. Its true that influencing peoples opinions and therefore the way they think and react, is a science. Knowing what lunatics these people who crave power, are, i dont doubt for a minute that they use that science. The cattle must be controlled. Its only paranoia if its not true.
  22. LOL. 83.7% of statistics are made up.
  23. Where did you see that poll ? In the Guardian ?
  24. Yep all pelts sold wet, rolled onto brown paper, wrapped and sent by courrier. Dont know how they graded them but some you thought were ok, got less than a tenner for, only the tip top fetched £25.
  25. Sorry to say mate, but what you got there is a litter of crap. It's no good people trying to talk the boxer up, thats like when the commentator, at crufts, say's, "this terrier is still a plucky little worker" bollox. Drown the feckin lot of them.
