  1. ahh my children, as a couple of my countrymen have pointed out, all drinks cower down to the mind bending power of the rough cider. as Adge Cutler said lets make this the summer of cider. ciderdelic.
  2. Had you been on the magic musrooms ? Thats bullsh*t same as the photo. :drag:
  3. And Eastenders!! F*@*king better than the semi final of stars in their eyes !! Insure it, run it over, claim.
  4. What worries me is where they get shot of them.Do they do it right or do they pass them on? You could let a dog go for pet or whatever and find out in time they have bred it and another load of rubbish is back in the system. When the time comes you know it and you can pussyfoot around for months but in the end the job should be down to you to do it right or keep the dog on for another year to see if it comes right and the only one you can hurt by doing that is yourself. its also not impossible for good dogs to throw a bad pup. does your parents know your useing the internet.............
  5. Bang on jack, thats what im saying, i've had it happen and it makes your mind up for you. good to have a mate like that, its not always easy cos you know how touchy some people are about their dogs, how are those poodles of yourn getting on? lol.
  6. Understood.but when a dog lets you down in company, its f*@kin embarassing makes it easy to get shot of that dog right? spose you've gotta draw the line somewhere though. As you said thats terriers for you.
  7. Fair play to you, i can only respect the genuine worker meself. we should all have high standards and not have kennel blindness, something that very many dog men suffer from. but give a dog a chance they dont all go from 6 months old.
  8. had a fella get sick on the back of the quad afew weeks ago and he wouldn't get back on so he had to talk about 4 miles back to the jeep........... ..two of the dogs were coming up 3 years old and the one he has left is 2......they got a fair go at it in my eyes but it wasn't for them........thats working terriers for ya fair game, 2 and even 3 years old can still be an inexperienced dog, depending on when they were whelped (summer, winter etc) and how early they entered im not making excuses for anyone, dont know who you're on about. how are your dogs bred? do they stay till dug to, ever
  9. Of course its just as important to look at the dogs relatives, as much as the dog itself, parents grandparents, siblings from previous litters. The dog doesnt have to be rock hard as long as hes got the vigour and hardiness, you know the type, they just look indestructible.
  10. Is GN gonna eat all that pasty, god bless him.
  11. Fair game, you're making yourself look daft lad, Brian nuttal has had a huge influence on black fell type terriers, when i first posted my question it was in full knowledge of the reputation of his dogs in the past, and was actually a polite way of asking if his strain has deteriorated recently, judging by the posts on this subject i would say not. which is just as well becauase i went up and bought a pup off him six months ago.
  12. pre locator days too much bull blood would make a dog useless for ground work as the dog would be mute. terriers have always had the tenacity and determination to stay with their quarry for as long as it takes. bull blood just made them keener to get to grips and absorb punishment.
  13. lets see a few of your grafters then mate,!!! yea i been trying but for some reason i cant upload anything on this site. ive asked the administrater for help.
  14. She looks good and fit saxon, a credit to you. ive had hard dogs in the past and although i know they have their uses i find it inconvenient to have a dog layed up all the time. bit of sense to avoid the serious stick, is what i want. having said that, you gotta love the bruisers.
  15. welcome to the site.but yo are so wrongggggggggggggggg mate. kinda had me tongue in me cheek there finchy
  16. I'm new to this site, just want to say i'm very impressed with the help and support everyone gives one another, none of this my dogs better than yours crap and petty bickering or slagging off. well done all, keep up the good work and KEEP DIGGING.
  17. hi mate i have a nuttall bitch very good bitch. she bolts most of her foxs but had her to ground for 5 hours last month if she stayed 5 hours she cant be half bad, did you get the right result in the end ?
  18. i have just lost a nuttall wheeler bitch very very game hard bitch This is the only picture ive got of her at the moment Here"s a better pic Here's a better pic of the same bitch. Very good worker she is - Thats how i like to see them, earning their rations. thats pure nuttal right?
  19. owned a couple of brians dogs (from brian not crossbred)both very good workers also sensible, would stay for days if need be,in my experiance they have to be held back, from about seven months onwards as they will self enter...unfortunatly one did at 9 months old, blocked it in got my shovel two hours later dug to two foxes,,thought could have ruined the dog some way,six months of age older tried him again,,,,no problems.the only strange thing about both of them was they did not trust strangers at all...i never take pictures, dont need to,but found one not very clear but not to bad. Chee
  20. this is our nuttal pup will be ready this season. very game i dont have any worrys about him whatsoever, only going to be used on legal quarry (rats, rabbits) Nice pup manda, but remember foxes are still legal quarry, dont let the thought police bully you into thinking otherwise. thanks for pic.
