Sorry to burst everyones bubble but nick stevens doesn't keep terriers enymore, he was in my opinion disapionted with how the whole hunting sceen was going plus he had lost control of how the strain was being bred by every numpty in country. I Very sad, if thats correct. Another good working line down the swannie !

But, remember, a country gets the government it deserves, we as a people have become so apathetic and selfish, with a "as long as i'm ok" attitude. Good, sensible comments, lads, thanks. I've heard that this strain has extrordinary hunting instinct ? Failures of course, and no superdog just terriers, but the ones that go are belters. Suprised no one has picked me up on my comment about them having white markings, sounds a bit divvy now i read it back lol It's just that my mate tells me i must have seen some of these dogs, and i'm trying to get a picture in me minds eye.

Something does'nt seem quite right here, Sounds to me like a personal fued between you and this woman, I'm sure if we scratch the surface, theres more to it than your concern for dogs that, it's already too late to help. I thought Afghan's were only kept by the landed gentry, not a breed you would expect to find in a neglect/cruelty case. -
So i think the answer to the original question, is; No you cannot get a definative answer to why dogs eat grass ! ! Dogs, Omnivores, news to me.

Dogs get no nutritional value from eating grass, their digestive systems are far too ineficient. The benifit they get is that the grass acts as a purge, with bile binding to the grass and being ejected from the body by means of vomiting, or excreta. Not my words, i read it some where ages ago, but its the most believable explanation i've come across.

Just seen on Paul O'grady show, They were re-homing two terriers, a russel type, and a smart looking lakie, he said "they must go to a good home, as their last owner FORCED THEM TO GO FERRETING ! ! ! Makes you wonder what poor unfortunate theese dogs were confiscated from. God i wanna puke ! :sick: :sick: :sick:
