    Got an original Leatherman - http://www.leatherman.com/products/tools/r...pst/default.asp - in 1991 (if the old memory serves me right? ) when I was still in the forces, and it's still going strong despite having been subjected to almost daily abuse. However, there are one or two things I always thought it was missing - saw etc. I recently aquired a new Leatherman Charge Ti - http://www.leatherman.com/products/tools/c...-Ti/default.asp and it's absolutely perfect! It does everything I need, and, like the old one, it holds an edge very well.

    Was out for a test drive today, along the way I saw four roe about 25 yds from the road on a nice quiet wee stretch o country lane, no houses or farm buildings for a mile or two :ph34r: :whistle: - the things ya see when ya aint got yer dogs with you Then five mins down the road we passed three guys who had obviously been doin a bit o ferretin - they must have ben carryin at least 30 bunnies between them What a sh@te day at work! :sick:

    Man, he's the spitting image of my beddy/whippet (aka Poodle) except that she's white. 17mths old, 21", great nose, loves the ferreting game and has even taken a 3/4 grown cub Best of luck to whoever he ends up owning

    As a LR salesman I'd have to say, look for something a bit newer if poss. GS is not a bad spec though, make sure ya get full LR service history - like every single car out there, there's good uns and there's bad uns. TD4s usuallygo on for ever. IMO the clutch is a potential weekpoint if ya do much off road. One thing to check - put it in reverse, turn wheel on full-lock and try reversing left and right for a wee bit, if you get a knocking sound it can be feckin costly (had a guy recently brought a 2000 model in and he thought it was a drive shaft - WRONG! It was part o the 4wd system - 3grand
