Took the camera out with the dogs this morning to try and get a few portraits o them. Here are the results (no apologies for the lack of action shots, we all like a couple o nice pics of our dogs, don't we?) Thank FCUK I never sent mine. He sent me his addy and the name for the cheque was different to his, but Mrs Misty had a bad feeling about it so I agreed not to send it (dont ya just feckin hate it when she's right? )

After seeing a few blacks around over the years, I finally caught one in a net a couple of years ago. I was actually going to let it go, cos it was absolutely beautiful - shiny jet-black fur with brown pads on it's feet, until the fecker kicked out as I removed it from the net and opened my finger to the bloody bone! :realmad: That kinda sealed it's fate Should have a photo somewhere, if I find it I'll put it up.

Took one of my mates out for a quick wander on some new permission yesterday. Check the stinkers Farmer says he's got lots of rabbits, points us in the direction of where he reckons most o them are and off we go. Molly gets her nose down, miles from where we were heading Hoy! There down here... Thats it, get them nets down dad. Just gotta wait now... A few bolts and a couple o runs later... Finally took my new TX200HC for a walk round a few outbuildings and got my first two kills with it 5 rabbits, and two pigeons. Not a bad wee day

Gotta be honest. I never used to have much luck before - got a few bits here'n'there - but since starting the LR job, I've gained a couple o good spots. I reckon it's down to being able to have a bit o a craic with them (sometimes on frequent visits to the service department - they do own land rovers after all :whistle: ) and let them see you're a good guy, who just wants a chance to work your dogs/ ferrets/ shoot responsibly and help them with a pest control problem.

I remember it as if it was only today... I had sold a new Land Rover to a local farmer. When he came to buy it, I found out that he owned a large farm - loaded with rabbits, hare and deer, which I used to 'walk the dogs on' :whistle: :ph34r: . Anyway, during the course of our negotiations about the price of his new car, I mentioned that if I did him a good deal, he had to give me permission to work my dogs on his land. It's not a foreign thing - it's a religious thing. Muslims born in the UK and Muslims born outside the UK are still Muslims. Did you see the baby on the front page of the papers yesterday with 'I love Al Q'aida' on it's hat? F*ckin parents should be shot - full feckin stop! I have nothing against foreigners coming here to work or live (some of you will know, Mrs Misty's Bulgarian - so she'd hammer me for saying anything else ) but when they start chanting all this hatred against our country, something MUST be done! Did a Gladiators Challenge with a gym I used to work for and having seen them up close (but not bloody close enough ) I'd have to say - 1. Lightning 2. Jet Didn't really notice any of the others.... :whistle:

The crow was a crackin stalk. It was sittin on top o the silage pit and could see loads from where it was, so I had to use a couple o buildings and do a bit o 'belly' work to get into place. Slowly crept the barrel over a pile of tyres, heart thumping like crazy, drew a bead on the centre of it's chest - 30yds, shot was spot on. Jumped into the air a couple o feet, then dropped like a stone.
