    One of my friends owns a tattoo shop and he very kindly let me spend a few hours there a wee while ago. I got loads of good pics (well, I like them). It's a wee break from my normal stuff, but I fancied a try. Here are a few, what do you think?

    This is a very hard post for me to write, but I must do it for the sake of the bitch. Sadly, I have to get rid of my beddy/ whippet. She's nearly 3yrs old, trained for ferreting, stock broken and an absolute demon on daytime rabbits (admitedly, she's not the greatest lamper as she prefers to use her nose so much). She's had one fox single handed and been in on a couple of others, but her main thing she's done is rabbiting. Great with people and LOVES kids. Hunts, jumps (loves bloody jumping, lol) retrieves.     Glad this 1 will be worked, there's a few middleton bred dogs around here (Killie) that have never worked and are showed all marked-up due to kennel fights yet passed off as workers.

    Here's my 3/4 greyhound 1/4 deerhound bitch. She's a litter sister to Nightwalkers bitch. 28". As people have already said, she was about two until she started to work properly but when the penny dropped, boy did it drop. She's taken a few rabbits, although it's obviously not her forte. She's had a few hares (pre-ban of course) but by chr@st, does she hate foxes!? Not had much chance to try her on deer, although she ran a couple pre-ban.     I've spoken to a lot of guys over the years who have seen cats when they're out lamping. I saw one in late 1996 when I was out with my lurcher bitch. Unfortunately, human nature is to disbelieve that which we have not seen with our own eyes (just ask yer missus if she believes in the female orgasm ) and thos who have seen the cats just have to accept the fact that we know what we have seen.

    Having had a wee look at the site, I've got to admit I can't see a difference between teh dogs on there and the dogs I would refer to as lurchers. Am I just being stupid?

    Cheers Crow, definitely gonna give this a try. I've been using a leather jobbie for a couple of years, but the leathers getting past it's best, so I've been looking for a replacement, this post came up just in time. Thanks.
