  4. Thanks folks. Only true dog people understand the feelings we go through when we lose a companion.
  5. 1995 was the year I bought my first lurcher - Cass. The advert read saluki/ collie x greyhound pups and I thought "That's the one for me" So, off I went with my cash in hand, ready to buy my first proper lurcher (having previously been accompanied on my ferreting trips with whatever dogs were in my family at the time) I had a choice of three bitches, but , as we all know - Cass chose me White, with a few wee patches of brindle, she was often mistaken for a JRT when I had her inside my jacket - then the legs came out! A gangly wee white thing grew quickly into a 26" running machine who, des

    Revenge

Many moons ago, my ex started seeing someone else while she was pregnant with my son. (I knew the guy as we both bounced in the same town) We had words but when I confronted him he denied it, although when I wasn't around, he was bragging to people that when the baby was born, he was going to raise him as his own with my ex. Now, before you read this next bit, I don't want any sh*te about being a thug or anything like that - please try to remember that this piece of sh*t tried to take my son away from me. I met him outside his house one night as he returned from working at the pub. I don'

  12. Right, anyone who's genuinely interested in taking part in this, just pm me and we'll try to sort it out, what do you think? At least that way, we'll have some idea of whether or not it's feasible.
  13. Got a 95k in .22 - light, powerful, accurate. I like the lighting too, but the 95 pips it for me on te equality front
  14. The member who does photogrophy is Mistwalker Right, just pm'ed Mistwalker. I hope I dont get a black eye from his wife :black eye: :black eye: Lets watch this space    Love to do this folks (not sure if my printer does braille though ) Need to consider when, where etc. My first thought would be a group meet at one of the big game fairs during the summer? This would allow time for proofs etc. to get sorted and sent to printers in time for later in the year. Any thoughts? (might also be an idea to see the interested parties and hav

  17. Well, call me a bit biased here as my wife's actually Bulgarian (from Nessebar, near Sunny Beach) and we've got a wee place there (200yds from the beach) so we usually get across a couple of times each year. Yes, it's a country which is still recovering from the ravages of communism (and the collapse of it - long story, but it left many Bulgarians even worse off than before) but, in my experience, the people are generally very friendly (although like any country, you get ar&eholes everywhere) the food is fantastic (no added crap, plenty of fresh meat, fish and vegetables) and there are so
  18. Know exactly what you mean, one of my lamping mates is as tactical as feckin pipe band in the jungle!
  19. Deepest sympathies from the Misty family. At times like this, we must remember the good times this man had and the smiles he caused. Although I didn't know him personally, I'm sure that - as a fellow hunter - he was a good bloke, who will right now be running his favourite quarry across the heavenly fields with his old friends and dogs. Old hunters never die, they just move to a new piece of permission. RIP LG
