I actually think the bones of the idea are spot on. Take youngsters with no work and involved in petty crime then give them another chance with national service. Basic military type fitness training. Then further training in sorts of skills, from emergency first response to more in depth skills for any that show promise. They could be used any where here or abroad.... helping in national emergencys and aid distribution ect. Unfortunately this will be a half baked expensive waste of time that scumbags ignore. I'm sure the Africans and Muslim communities will get an exemption of some type

I disagree with any laws curtailing personal freedoms. But I just don't know where I stand on this smoking law. Alcohol is an evil evil drug that causes untold misery and destruction. I've seen people's minds twisted by cannabis. I don't know what the answer is and when I'm made imperial emperor the laws around tobacco, cannabis and alcohol are laws I'm not looking forward to making

I thought it was DDT that was the killer for otters. I believe the spread of otters seems to be pushing the mink out at the minute. Your correct about the otter hounds....some of today's otter groups have their roots and direct links to otter hunters.

When I was in my teens my dad and his mates were into selling it. I used to have my school bag full of it for school friends parents when then they all had an order in. One day we went to the local auction mart where it was all sold from and two of his mates were missing, they had been pulled and served prison sentences for how much they had been shifting. When we recently went abroad I was going to bring a load back but I honestly don't know a single person who smokes anymore

We don't get hornets up here. I've found 1 dead in an office window a few years ago. Another pest controller I trust said he did two nest around Preston last year though. I'm not convinced it's the weather either as that's not bothered them in the past, bees seem better able to deal with a poor spring than wasps.
