    I'v got a 9 year old daughter myself and I'd say I'm quite an intelligent bloke (dossed through shool stoned out my face yet I always somehow got top grades much to the annoyance of the boffins) but some of the questions she gets have my head hurting and on the phone to my old man who's an accountant/human calculator!!

    Why not ? If staffs can bush and if my bloody American bulldog can bush then why not any other dog with bags if drive and a good nose ? This is a 75lb bulldog that will get through the thickest brambles to get whatever's home out or catch it in there....and his nose is spot on!

    Paulus a lot of my bushing spots run alongside busy roads but yeh in big open spots off lead all the way!! And when I'm talking about bushing 99% of the time I'm not talking about rabbits!

    I mainly bush bramble patches and ditches covered in bramble, and this time of year also the edges of crop fields with two terriers and have the lurcher on the slip. She can and does work of it well but I prefer having the ability to not slip her in certain situations, locations, and like I said above my two give noise if they pushing something out so even if whatever's home comes out the far side of a bramble patch for example when I do slip the lurcher she knows which way to go because of the noise as do I.

    The worn ones usually smell better Robbo I agree but bluethedogs are covered (encrusted even) in copious amounts of spunk as he uses em to wipe his face after gobbling of homeless men in return for letting him sniff their pants. But he doesn't let them call him mate, bud or pal.... Ever lol

    Imo a good busher won't stray too far from me and the lurcher, can understand me pointing in different directions, gives mouth only on sighting quarry and not just on scent, a good nose, bags of drive, not afraid of brambles/nettles...sure there's loads more but there's a few of the top of my head. I have a bitch that does all of the above, great little dog she is.
