Dave when i divorsed my husband there were letters arriving daily from this shower saying i had to let them collect maintainence from my sons father, regardless of the fact we split on good terms & my then husband was paying weekly money to me for the upkeep of our son . In the end i had to get my dad to draft a stiff letter to them for me as i couldnt make them understand that i wasnt a battered wife living on the poverty line, they stopped once it was put to them in a letter

if you think about it the thin parts on the top of the neck when there on a lead anyway as the d rings on that bit, i know through recent experience how quick they can get out of a collar , no matter how tight its on them, i got an extra long lead & noose it round the dogs neck if i spot a small dog in eye sight & then to control his back end i cock my leg over his middle & just apply a little pressure from my thighs thats enough to stop him throwing his back end out I had to learn quick & on my toes when i had the bitch so thats what i do with the dog who is a bugger f

The thing that makes me smile about this is there are tens of thousands of kids who's grandparents rear them and do a good job , my grandmother was reared by her grandmother because her own mother was incapable due to some mental illness but that was over a hundred yrs ago. So it seems its ok for that to happen if its not involving the social services , once they get involved everyone who would previously have been deemed as the most natural to take over that role is vetted by them as to there suitability & in this case up to now they arnt deemed suitable for whatever reason

My moms neighbour faught for 4 yrs to get her grandson from various fosterers , he was a 9 month old baby when his mother had him taken from her he was nearly 5 when they got custardy of him, they had him odd days & as time went on they had him for full weekends , but in the first place they were watched like hawks when they had him, went to court to fight for him lord knowns how many times but won in the end
