  1. The only thing I dislike with these bridge superzoom cameras is the images seem to have been '' smoothed'' in the camera , like a beautifying filter thing but other than that there all I need for my level , I wont ever advance simply because I am lazy & I just point & shoot , so an all singing set up would be wasted on me
  2. I have been using a Canon SX40 bridge camera for the last 6 years & I got up today & decided I would get myself a more current bridge camera so I got a Nikon B700 Its a cracking little camera for a novice.like me , well chuffed with it for everyday use .... I have just taken a few tonight

RIP little man , goodnight & god bless xxx I love this photo
  7. Wish I was nearer the coast .... I loved my stay in Northumberland especially Lindisfarne it was bliss even in November
  8. Yep we're going for a walk over the headland in a minute nice and quiet I don't really know what it is exactly but I love seeing rain on the sea especially when the sea is very flat. Tbh I'm glad to have a bit of rain it's been so dry the last 6 weeks the garden needs it, but the weather here is weird and changes very quickly I really enjoyed yesterdays walk.. it was still .. no wind just steady rain .. the dog was less than impressed .. so I was only out for an hour ...
  9. Its suiting me right now ... no fair weather dog walkers out .. bliss
  10. as far as i know bullterrier , greyhound was the sire and the dams some kind of lurcher ..a good old mongrel i think ..lol
  11. She is a full time job at the min .. its a good experience though am enjoying it
  12. I had some factor 50 kids sunscreen that I keep for my grandson , I have used it on her nose & ears not had any issues as I dont let her lay out in it when its baking hot .. as she has grown I can see dark grey spots on her skin ... not sure if it will change her fur when she moults out ... its like dark pigment marks but just on the skin
  13. A few photos of the pup on the rare occasions she is still & behaving
  14. I paid £ 47 for jabs chip worm & flea drops & a months insurance ..... when I booked for the second jab they said 2 to 4 weeks after the first , if i had waited a month for the second jab the pup would be almost 4 months old , both me & her would have been climbing the walls ... so i opted for the 2 weeks ... i took my pup out a week before the second jab was due
  15. I have never worked out why someone has to '' come out'' .....When I was a kid it meant '' come out to play'' ........... I have never felt the need to '' come out as heterosexual'' ..... I dont have a burning desire to tell the world I fancy blokes IF you are attracted to the same sex then just get on with it ... we dont need to know
  16. Thanks for the input lads , some varied opinions & all food for thought, at the min I am letting her be a pup but not to the point where she will hurt herself or chew stuff that will harm her. I do crate her for 3 hours in total when I go to work at tea time, she isnt keen on the crate but at least she cant get into mischief she is enjoying her walks & greets other dogs with normal puppy enthusiasm . She is strong willed & great fun all rolled into a little longdog but with that terrier attitude I have managed to keep her off me spuds which she was cheerfully demolishing
  17. She usually mouths when I check her humping behaviour , but I am getting on top of that with distraction with a rope toy , she is still only 11 weeks old & full on , but I am seeing improvements in the way she responds with consistency , hard work but I am committed to working with her . Its a new thing for me having a very switched on pup & I am learning as much as she is & enjoying the experience
  18. She does it to some of her toys & the draught excluder I have not had an issue with her doing it to people so far
  19. The excitement example seems to fit with this pup , interesting read that is thanks
  20. Can anyone shed any light on this type of behaviour in a pup, is it normal & a phase she will grow out of ? Its not a huge problem I am curious more than anything
  21. Not sure what news you lads have been watching but one of the first people they interviewed was a IC1 male who managed to get his daughter & wife out of there flat safely, there was numerous interviews with clergy , all white, if folks take offence with the mention of muslim switch the telly over simples
