I had gas & air when I was in labour & it made me high as a kite , I can still remember talking about carpet dogs , Christ knows what ketamine would have done to me

I love them , especially a nicely done sleeve

Not from what I read constantly on this site and frankly coming out of every 'working man's' mouth. Haven't you heard? Apparently it's not the poor hard done by working man's fault for taking a loan that he can't manage, it's the lender's fault! See that's how society works now, we're not responsible for our own actions, it's every one else's fault. Makes perfect sense to me! Why do the British hate freedom and responsibility so much? I can see Labour having a landslide. It's straight out of their mantra. My nephew was made redundant. He has two kids. His rent was astronomical but

I dont know tbh... he dont come across to me like that ... I think it stems from him not being particularly '' robust'' the Marines fiasco etc

The marriage of Charles & Diana was doomed from the off, he needed a wife to give him an heir , she did that & produced a spare , I dont know why people feel Camilla shouldn't be his queen , she is his wife after all. I found Diana to be a drama queen who thought she should be held in the same high regard by the royal family as she was by the public, she clearly had mental health issues & came across as a ''victim'' .. she was inconsistent with the media & the press.... wanting the attention on her terms. Camilla has kept her mouth shut & got on with it, Edwards wi

As some of you know I had my 2 greyhounds pts within 8 weeks of each other both aged 13 , I said I would not have a dog again as its so hard when you have to let go. But the home isnt a home without a dog & I have missed having the old hounds about the place , so after a lot of thought I decided I needed a dog. I have selected this little lurcher pup, she will be ready in about 4 weeks , she appears to be quite steady I think I have chosen the right one, thats what my guts telling me

what about having a frugal shopper section ,I linked my sainsburys nectar card to my e bay account & have already accumulated 15 quid on it since march , every little helps

I think I have inherited my moms frugal ways , like saving stuff like curtains from a window & giving them a new lease of life a few years later by making cushion covers out of them ... I also paint stuff like tables & just tat about rather than buy new , I am very tight had a 20 note in my purse since last sat & it will kill me to use it I remember the family treat was angel delight on a sunday after the obligatory tinned salmon pieces for tea

I was lucky enough to have a dad & a gran who could cook a meal out of nothing , it came in very useful when my kids where little, folks today dont know how to make use of a freezer , cooking a big pan of chilli & get some casseroles made up & stick it in the freezer in tubs for the coming week .. like you say a jacket spud & chilli or cheese costs about a quid per person ...

I found it laughable to be honest, its never bothered me being in part time work, i couldn't hack 40 hours a week... wouldn't be able to potter around in the day its enough for my needs as i dont run a car or have holidays so i am quite happy with my lot
-
same here, i have enough to pay my bills & feed myself , rather know the bailiff aint knocking than have a shit load of credit for luxerys
-
Its mental, I am basically working for 51p per week
-
Th sad thing is scott he WOULD be better off not working... oddly enough the 2 girls i work with was on about our part time hours & if we could get statatory sick pay if we had to go into hospital for an operation for example .... the answer to that is no because we dont earn enough so i did one of them benefits calculations things & on my weekly hours i am worse off working . I also found out the whole host of other things i could get help with like loft insulation & home improvement grants if i am out of work , you get no help at all if your on a low wage scott like I am &

I think poverty is down to what you put as priority, whether your in employment or on some kind of benefit , people using food banks because they pay out at places like brighthouse, these carpet companys where you pay a tenner a week , renting tv's washers , fridges freezers etc , add that along with a 500 quid studio account & that pretty much takes all there money , so there is none left for food

I asked in th pub if they had a couple of wine bottles I could have & there was a litre jack bottle in amongst the wine bottles, so I got the labels off it & had an idea ........I am chuffed with this one , I used some led tree lights

Always liked him, very sad RIP

Do you drink from the furry cup Kay ? I am into men .. prefer male company always have
-
Silly cow was probably full of drink, no sympathy from me , am ashamed to be female sometimes, what ever happened to going out for a drink & having the craic , then go home ....... I blame drinking in the house while there getting there slap on ... guzzling lambrusco or some other cheap crap . I have never in my life been out in an all women group , screeching , loud foul mouthed groups of drunk women ain't my idea of a night out .. give me a night in the local watching the footy any day
