Painting block kennels

Cheers mate. This is primarily for painting the outside but I don't want damp from inside to cause the outside to flake if you get me. I might use this chlorinated rubber on the inside and just use regular sealant and emulsion on the outside. In that case it might be worth me doing the inside first anyway... Yeah I thought about tiling two or three blocks up just to catch most of the splash but it all comes down to cost. I'm already in pretty deep with them... -
Here’s my pup. I’m going to bring her on as a beating dog foremost but if things go smoothly then eventually she’ll be shot over too. I’ll see how things go.

I’ve got kennels built out of concrete blocks that I want to paint to make them a bit easier on the eye. Is it just a simple case of painting or does it need some sort of sealant first or what? Damp from washing out is an issue which I’m concerned about regarding painting. Got a mind to tile inside block work so far to help with this but that’s another day. Cheers

Just wanted to add. To your credit you do apologise when you cross a line. We have some right mares but we've never needed anything settling for us. No one has to be perfect, but we need to try to do better and you are one of the ones who do. If we could just all do that then we'd not need to have these discussions.

I don't get it much no. But it happens, I just point it out and how it is indicative that they have no answer and then ignore them. As soon as the responses are abusive the discussion has no legs, it's over and to throw back is nothing but damaging to the thread. My point really is more about seeing it happen to others. Am i perfect... of course not. I couldn't tell you how many times I've apologised to folk on here. For some f***ing reason you have to be a saint to suggest we do better.

I mean we'll never know at this rate. I didn't mean to suggest words should be baned. Just plain and simple thread wrecking abuse. I'd hoped folks would have the wherewithal to infer that my examples were in the context of abuse.

Totally agree. I think it's clear that there is plenty of outright malicious abuse going on wrecking threads though. I just wanted to understand if the comments were mocking me so I could clear up this point. It's no drama, I'm just direct.

I agree in real life. People carrying on like a c**t need to be made aware of it. In real life telling someone they’re a c**t carries weight because it means shit is about to get nasty. On here though there’s no consequences. Someone can just call someone a c**t simply because they haven’t an answer. And like in real life, when the c**ts start the actual meaningful discussion is over. So ultimately IMO, using it on here is pointless. Years ago maybe. Point out one single instance where I've called someone a c**t or a wanker or a twat etc in the last two years. I can push people's buttons without needed to call them a c**t.

I know folks like to pretend this site is somewhere that's meaningless to them, a cyber pub, that they don't care about being bared from. But the truth is you all do care about this place. I personally learn a lot from this site, from the discussions we have, I learn a lot about my own views by being challenged and having to validate them. I value this site and it'd be a better place if everyone else would realise that in truth they do too.
