Depends what you want really, fixed or removable hitch, bypass relay or the proper plug in electrics. For my motor for similar needs I went with a fixed hitch and single 7-pin electrics on a bypass relay. About £140 I think from towsure or similar and fitted it myself easy enough. probably have been another 1-200 to have fitted but you can get a quote off of the towing websites. http://www.towsure.com/towbars?gclid=CPelusPguc4CFUETGwodP1wJSQ

I've got half an eye on the Women's Hockey. Little way to go yet but our ladies are top of their group. Local farmer's daughter is in the team. Be nice to see them beat their London '12 bronze! They've beaten the London silver medalist's, the Argies. The Dutch are in the other group, who are Beijing and London gold medalists.

Decent day for Team GB yesterday. Men sychro 3m spring board, Jack Laugher and Chris Mears taking gold. For me that's a particularly impressive achievement considering "The Chinese have dominated the sport for decades, having topped the medal table for seven successive Olympic Games and eight World Championships".

You was up as late as me then that was a great competition the chap Quinquan who broke the world record is some lifter......clean and jerk is a careful balancing act between pure balls to the wall commitment and technical discipline.......to clean and jerk 3 times your body weight is some feat. I'd like to say I was up late watching it all, but I caught it on catch up. For someone (me) who's shit at cleans and front squats I can really appreciate how incredible such a lift is. To throw yourself under a bar weighing over 3 times your BW and go ass to grass like that is ballsy! As you s

What's that Accip, you want regular updates via PM of every event? I don't think we'll have much of a problem with that if we all share the load.

Anyway, I don't want to detract this thread from your socialist movement to infringe on even more of my bloody freedoms!

And on the topic of reform if we were to start from scratch I'd be inclined to fully separate the three branches of government in a presidential system and ditch the Lords in favour of a more democratic house or a more pure form of a house of wise-men. That's the idealist in me. The traditional pragmatic conservative part of me feels like that'd be a step too far. LOL

This is why we need voting reform TBH, no doubt a party with a solid libertarian platform could pick up a few seats under some kind of PR and then they may get the opportunity to influence policy in a coalition government. That will never happen in the UK either though Even if it did though, there just isn't the mentality for libertarianism in the UK. It's just not on the table in UK politics. Obviously I can see how your suggestion would more fairly represent UK politics though. Not sure if I'd go for single transferable vote though. But for the above, no fecking electoral system
-
There'll never be a significant libertarian movement in the UK. The British only know authority! Our answer to any problem is regulations and bans! So long as we are regulating the other fellas liberties, we're free right? LOL I'd bet 95% of the UK electorate couldn't even tell you what libertarianism is and in fact I've had debates with educated colleagues who seem to think modern liberalism somehow represents freedom and yet typical libertarian values represent some sort of extreme right wing! It'll never happen in the UK.

Powerhouse that lad. Strange to see a swimmer with such a powerful physique! Apparently he can do a press-up so explosively that he can upright himself! I'm going to have to watch that video because that sounds impressive. Anyway, the lad is a credit to the country and sport. Proper old school mentality of "Queen and country", absolutely certain of his own success. Incredible! when you look at most swimmers , they all have good physics , broad shoulders with a wedge shape bodies , think its near as much in the pool as the gym lifting weights, but not over the top, or they get to h

Bloody good show from Jazz Carlin as well. Silver in 400 freestyle. The lass was so happy in the interview after. It's nice to see that enthusiasm from a sportsman representing the country. That's half the reason I like the Olympics so much, all the athletes have an enthusiasm, gratitude and honour in being there that is just not often seen in the high profile sports.

I'm a terrible swimmer and not for lack of trying. f**k knows why but it's something I wish I was better at because i actually enjoy it, or would like to enjoy it. Anyway, just watched that Chinese fella in the 56kg class lift 170kg clean and jerk! f**k me those Chinks dominate the lower weight classes in Olympic lifting. Very impressive.

If they're owt like Notts they'll want evidence to show that you have missed shooting opportunities through not having an open ticket. Which seems a little daft, you've missed them. Lol.

I think some of you lot need locking up! LOL. I'd say mine is bang on. Those that know me probably reckon it's about 40% low mind. Lol 55% - Though your conscience is in the right place you also have a pragmatic streak and generally arent afraid to do your own dirty work! Youre no shrinking violet - but no daredevil either. You generally have little trouble seeing things from another persons perspective but, at the same time, are no pushover. Everything in moderation including moderation might sum up your approach to life.

"There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter." Ernest Hemingway I think for some, that can easily be paraphrased to be the hunting of all men, not just armed men.

I don't believe that, many people have terrible upbringings and don't do half the things these monsters do. At the age of 3 Bundy showed signs of abnormal behaviour. His aunty remembered waking up from taking a nap and seeing that little Ted had taken all of the knives out of the kitchen and placed them all around her body, when she confronted him he just smirked.... I'd say that every individual has their own genetic (born) susceptibility to becoming a psycho/socio-path. Some are probably very likely with anything less than a perfect environment to instill a strong moral mindset.
-
I think there's a transgender in the opening ceremony. Fill ya boots! There's Gisele too mind.
-
Personally, I think there is a monster in all of us, and it's largely circumstance (environment and social conditioning) that keeps it locked away. Is it not true that often these psychopaths and sociopaths are just hyper rational people who's logic has taken them to a monstrous place? Is it not true that some men who have experienced it have developed a very natural enjoyment for the hunting/killing of other men? Is it just opportunity and a lack of this hyper rational thought that stops regular folk taking similar paths in life?
-
Oh yeah, if you're one that doesn't like the games then you can keep ya thoughts to ya self! Miserable b*****ds!
-
Well, who's looking forward to this spectacle over the coming weeks? I believe the opening ceremony is midnight tonight. It's probably the only sporting event that I actually have a bit of passion for. I'm not a mad keen follower of the athletes or sports but I do love the Olympics. The diverse mix of disciplines, sporting excellence, the grandeur of it all. Other than the bread and butter track and field events I really enjoy the gymnastics, weightlifting and swimming. I can even get into the sailing and rowing. There must be a few amateur boxing fans on here too? What's everyone'

Black Lives Matter................apparently
Born Hunter replied to Born Hunter's topic in General Talk
You don't need rights, you have white privileged! That's basically why so many blacks and browns drowned in the Med this year.......... it's white folk not rescuing them fast enough and not taking them to swimming lessons! Seriously couldn't make it up. That last point was f***ing hilarious! "And finally, we BLM are cunting everybody off across the UK going about their lives because so many of us non white folk have drowned this year! It's a terrible thing that society must do something about!" f***ing LOL. Talk about misplaced responsibility! -
So there's been a bit of a BLM protest across major UK cities this morning. Shutting down whatever public transport they can to make their point. So what is their point I wonder? Black people are overrepresented by more than a factor of two for deaths in police custody since 1998. Black people are up to 37 times more likely to be stopped and searched than white people. Black people are three times more likely to be arrested than white people. Black people are 44% more likely to be detained under the mental health act than white people. Black people are three times more likely to be une

Chinese To Build Nuclear Bomb In South Of England
Born Hunter replied to PeskyWabbits's topic in General Talk
So to sum up; It could have made a f***ing big bang?? Probably, but a firecracker compared to that from a thermonuclear warhead! It's not the explosive energy that was concerning anyway, it's the radioactive matter that the explosion would throw into the atmosphere that was the concern. If we are he'll bent on calling it a bomb then it would have been a dirty bomb, not any kind of nuclear weapon. -

Max, I'm not qualified to make that judgement. It sounds reasonable on the face of it. I suspect in reality though it wouldn't cut it. Surely some greeny has done the analysis? Be interwsting to see no doubt. Right now I'm more concerned with what to have for tea than saving the world, LOL.
