  1. Here's a better idea. Just let the weak minded fuckers kill themselves, stop supporting them, stop fighting them and turn away from this government directed anarchism as a solution. In fairness, that country is all kinds of f****d up. No one simple solution. But I'm of the opinion when policy fails so badly that there is state supported vigilantism then the state has no place legislating against such things in the first place.
  2. The good man with a gun that saved lives..... http://bearingarms.com/bob-o/2016/09/19/man-shot-crossroads-mall-terrorist-uspsa-competitor-3-gun-shooter/
  3. Could be my all time favourite film that, wouldn't be half the same without Hans Zimmer....You ever watched the TV series Battlestar Galactica? f***ing awesome in a similar way. More spirituality/religion/mythology involved though. Similarly the music makes this series what it is. Bear mcreary is phenominal and the way a certain song is tied into the plot for me was truly one of those exciting moments when everything starts to become clear. I think it was you who pointed me at I-origins, another of those sort of thinkers films.
  4. Difficult to describe the emotional state this film left me in. Not teary emotional, just profound!
  5. Not quite the very end but still the end... ish. Lol
  6. The Parliament Act does not have that power. If this vote happens, it is simply the government holding good on their promise to hold a free vote. Very strong chance the vote will go against us and that's our lot! This would be THE last chance but it's a fecking slim chance.
  7. It sounds like one monumental cock up and the old boy sounds like he's living on another f***ing planet.
  8. How often do anglers get demanded to justify their photographs and continued legality? Every single picture from a trophy hunt in the public eye will be met with hate, threats, sensational explanations to the reasons why and demands for justification. When/if anglers ever do I fully expect them to use similar examples from other activities to help explain their motivation behind their fish photos. It's a fairly standard debating tactic to use one generally acceptable act to justify another technically similar act. I see nothing wrong with what he did myself. I don't agree with trophy hunting

  11. I thought he was spot on myself. In both instances they are trophy shots, the motivation behind a fishing photo or a hunting photo is the same, it's a photograph of an achievement the owner has great personal value in. He did not try to draw parallels in the actual act of fishing and trophy hunting, just the act of photographing the result. I also thought it was good when he pointed out that then pushing those photos into the public domain may not be in the best of taste. But that is the culture we live in these days. Social media has nurtured a culture that seems to encourage people to sh
  12. Now, come clean..... you've picked the martial arts/defense discipline that has the highest attendance from single 20 year old athletic type strumpets! eh! Yeah, I should say it'll have your pulse sufficiently in the 'cardio' range.
  13. there is nothing wrong with taking enjoyment from doing a task well. Diggory is a great historian, gunsmith and writer, with a breadth of knowledge of historical firearms and hunting trophy hunting etc, but his temperament, is not what is needed for calm debate and explanation. But Mike Robinson has it down to a tee. It did get a bit heated between them all at that point but I think the man is a far more presentable 'trophy hunter' than what the public are typically used to seeing so in that respect I think he was good. As you say, Mike really was very good. He is clearly a man who
  14. Rachel, Diggory, Mike and Andy did a decent job. Credit to all of them. I thought Mike came across particularly well. I just wish Rachel would admit she does it primarily because she enjoys it and that there's nothing wrong with that for all of the ethical reasons presented. I really think that's the biggest mistake that our hunting representatives make and the antis see right through it.
  15. Looks like I will be too... f**k, that's kyboshed any hope of a relaxing nights sleep! I'll be f***ing writhing I bet. Lol
  16. And yeah, the black death, Cape buff would be right at the top of my list given the opportunity!
  17. What sort of hunting do you do mate? You're not a shooter are you? Seeing some of those antelope run with a longdog would be a bit different and hunting African cats with hounds would be something else! But to be honest, learning the skills and experiencing the life appeals more than any one hunt. Same with any type of hunting, getting involved properly is more forfilling than just paying your money for a fleeting experience.
  18. Little bit of an insight for anyone interested. Be a hell of an education living the life of a PH in the Dark Continent. I'd love to hunt impala one day too...
  19. Doesn't he still hold the record for the longest escape and evasion distance in British military history or something similar? In 'Duncan Falconer's' book on his years with the SBS, he allegedly did the same straight from Lympstone to Poole, before being assigned to a Commando. Cracking book by the way, First into Action.
  20. Don't worry, It's on today fella. As it says in the title, LOL.
  21. I agree. I seem to recall watching a couple she has done, one on steroid use and one on prostitution. That said, neither of those subjects was she in particular passionate opposition to, unlike this one. She's the typical poster-girl animal rights celeb type; anti hunting, vegan, posed for PETA campaigns etc. But seems she has been genuinely open minded (as much as is possible) learnt a lot and actually pissed off a lot of her fans with her knew found fact based opinions on it all. Can't knock her at all. Still don't reckon it's gonna do me any benefit at all watching it though. LOL
  22. Rachel Carrie is a great ambassador for field sports from what I have seen of her. But frankly these things just wind me up unnecessarily so I'll not bother. Fair play to Rachel and her guests for their efforts and fair play to Marsh for actually looking what this is about first hand rather than just spouting the bile like that horrible fat f**k Gervais does.
  23. Don't think I'll bother watching it but I'm sure it'll interest a few so here's the heads up. By all accounts, Jodie Marsh has had her eyes opened and Rachel Carrie has done a very good job representing Hunting/Field Sports in this debate/documentary.
  24. Sounds like a Labour MP...
