    Bonjour compagnons de chasse This afternoon/evening I decided to check out Ratville for any signs of vermin,its still summer down here so the sun was beating down when I arrived.The down side was the cloud of flys that greeted me as I got out of the van.I rolled the customary smoke,checked my zero and had a scout around.Their were some positive signs of activity around but the shed is full of straw bales so it will be a while before they are more visual.I did see one though squeezing through the corrugated tin to grab a mouthful of maize,I crept up to a good shoot
