I've only ever shot .22 so cant really comment,I have a few tins of Accupell Flatheads which I find always stops them in their tracks.Its finding the buggers that I find difficult.Maybe a cold spell will bring them in.

It is nice Bill,but only a small portion of the wood is on my permission and try as I might I cant seem to find the owners.Would love to shoot the whole area. With these dark nights, and weekends at a premium,I gotta fit in what I can when I can.The squizzers were an added bonus to what was an enjoyable few hours

For most of the summer months I used to pop out after work or have a mooch during the evening, this was quite a regular occurrence and I swore blind that my enemies new I was coming.This morning was the first time out early for a long time and I found the quarry acted in a completely different way than usual,hanging around rather than making a run for it.Do you think they get wise to regular mooches and do any of you try to stagger or rotate your shooting trips?

I was meant to go logging this morning to stock up for the winter but got let down at the last minute, so I decided to go for long walk around some wooded permission.I took the s200 with me on the off chance something may present itself but was really out to stretch my legs.Overall distance was about 5-6 miles, so a refreshing walk with a few shots on the way round.
