  6. The amount of "failures" a man has speaks more of the man than the dogs.
  7. Are you referring to the lurchers or terriers? Have you seen either work? On that note, have any of the objectors had any experience of in/line breeding at all? If your dogs have the qualities you want its the most likely way you will keep them. Best listen to those who've done it.
  8. Going back in the thread a bit-neither of them could handle the honey badger. No dog could-its one hard, fearless animal.
  9. Hey all, just got in from wild food shopping. Read through this thread-when were guns mentioned? Did i miss something or are pm's getting mixed up with posts?
  10. How do you know when its the ingredients that are wrong and not the training?
  11. They dont make the missus as attractive as a bottle of jamesons finest does though.
  12. its called standing up and being counted Only got the one myself and not much standing up going on these days! its not like a loaf of bread
  13. thats the question-what makes a good,(even great),bad or indifferent lurcher? Is it down to breeding or training? I posted the same question on the terrier section a while ago and a lot blamed the breeding when a terrier failed to come up to scratch. What are the views of you lurcher men (or ladies).

  15. Something to do with penis size.........
  16. They excel at bushing and bay like hounds on a line. You wont find a better nose on a terrier, and not too many equal. Put the training in and they are very biddable-quite a few work as gundogs. All in all they are versatile dogs. Contrary to some "experts", they also work to ground. Get one-you wont be disappointed.
  17. At least you're in the kitchen where women belong! Just make sure you fetch a cold beer too.
  18. No text or pics in the post-is it just my computer???
  19. All in all no more use as a lurcher than a leggy bull terrier.
