Had a BTO leg ring aswell, have sent off the details….pretty sure it’s ringed fairly local. Shot an orange banded one years ago and it’s a local scheme

Lucky to shoot a small grouse moor a couple of times a year….a young grouse roasted tonight with plums and honey…probably the finest game bird I’ve ever eaten
