Thing is mate at least 1/4 of the london underground network is above ground.....but the main reason it shuts down at times like this is driverss cant get to work,simple..... and if you dont like london dont come here....easy innit ...sometimes its unavoidable i know,i f*****g detest it up north,hence i avoid going up there whenever possible. fooking ell that told me , i take it you live there. i feel for ya

thats how it should be but this is a double edge sword, because were in the eu , it means we can work in other countries easily , and claim dole , and use there heath service. i know cos i have worked abroad, so it works both ways

Yeah, I was just thinking that Tomo. The winter of '47 was terrible, wasn't it........... cheeky fecker funnily enough though i was going to mention that one , i remember my grandad talking about it , lasted from feb till may and you couldn't see the tops of the hedgrows . i belive 63 was also a bad one

normaly i would take the piss out of you canadians lurchergirl, but your dead right. the thing is though we used to have bad real bad winters when i was a kid, and we got by, but its just a few inches these days.

a few inches of snow , and it closes down , pathetic. no buses, even the tube was afected AND THATS UNDERGROUND FOOKING RUBISH. i was in finland just befor xmas with 3 foot of snow, plenty busses even the airport was ok. mind you i hate fecking london anyway

my best alone is 51, and like most good bags when solo , it all went very easy with rabbits bolting well. on that day i didnt start till around 10.30 and was driving away by 4pm.

WHAT a terrible post , a bit farther on in this thread you say you go out in bad weather , but on this first post you say you havent been out much and its putting you off hunting. contedicting yourself kid. most of us carry out pest control through the summer, its a nessasery evil. but what you have written above just shows a lack commitment. perhaps you should have a good think as to weather this hunting thing is for you

i will be carrying on right up til april with the ferts, regardless of pregnant does or not , pest control is pest control. on some farms will carry on with the rifle and snare through the summer.

first time ferreting the dales for about 6 week, just me and paddy today , nobby was at work firly straight forward day today , rabbits bolting well only 2 digs ,both less than 1 foot not alot to wright about realy . ended the day with 30 packed in at 2 pm as i wanted to see the keeper on the next bit of MY DALES heres a few pics some sceinic shots across the vally , in front is the fence line i walk along whilst lamping 4 from this 3 holer in a few mins
