injections................? doh should of had them about 8 or 9 weeks, my bad,........ i wouldnt take a dog out that young...........long day for pup when they should be eating ,sleeping , and playing i had her injected early. What with steds? Steds are old school....... Those in the know use ...."brown brown".......(gunpowder ,coke mix)

3. -4 feet from the bed,,,, best way to tell is stick your hand under it,,,when it's been on for a while to test how hot it is. At the min I have a 100 wat, ceramic bulb,, and. To be honest the heat at the bed level is only just noticeable , in the past I've always used 250 red bulbs,, and they are nice and warm at that hight at bed level,,,so I think ile step up to a 150 or 175 and see what there like

Got to make the most of the weather when trapping Tomo, old feller has been picking his days.Get back up here, you know you need too. I do mate,,, but I'm a bit house bound at the mo, with the mrs working,,, and my chauffeur ,,, is working hard as well. So I'm being the house wife at the mo.......

Got to be honest I disagree ,,,, you can cover a live trap,, with boards and even turf ,,, or even widen out the hole closest to where you think the ferret might be, and a trap there,,, again covered to protect from the weather,,, and of course there's nothing to stop you putting bedding in the trap,,, provided it doesn't impede the trigger.. Even better if you can put a few traps down

The best thread on this site,,, is by Ned makin,, it's on the big game hunting section,,it's about pig hunting in oz, he's done it like a blog over the last 3 years......it's brilliant . Some of the most helpfull are on the health section .

I have already stated why i will never buy the magazine again...........no name calling of any staff or degrading anyone (i'll leave that to the cmw describing poachers ), the cmw staff were not thinking of defending our way of life when they wanted a good hunting site shut down because of an entry ticket for a game fair (thats how much they thought of defending the common cause) !!!!!!!!!! I do not need to or want to belittle or intimidate anyone, not my nature, nor will i be belittled or intimidated by anyone to do with an insignificant magazine, I do not hide behind any name on a hunting

Watched a few vids years back,,, I can't say it's for me,,, I thought it boring......only good thing might be the crack with other good lads and of course the local Irish lads ... For me that would be the best bit.

Graham, I know your proofing a point mate,,, but you don't have to. Take your name and adress down mate, last thing you want is someone nicking your dogs,, or all your gear from a shed ,van, ect,,, not to mention your local antis.

Can't see why your complaining.... My docs is the same ,,always a half hour wait , cos the doc goes over time,, sometimes a longer weight...... And my docs is a tiny country village practice with only English patients,, and English docs,,,, we still have to weight,,,,, My advise is put your nickers back on and get in line...

That's true , it does make me feel better as well mate,, it does give me piece of mind. But as others have said , earlier in the thread,, I'm certain they benefit from it

Are these any good then mate? Have seriously considered getting one of these when Ive finished coverting my brick shed into a kennel/run. Another question is where abouts would you install it? High? Or low? Cheers pal SFA I bought one from Argos a few year back , and can honestly say it was wank,,, it would struggle to warm my pocket up...in fact 1 inch from it you couldn't feel anything".............. But maybe there are better ones out there, that thing I got was about 18 inch long,, I took it back the next day...

Also I'm not saying they won't curl up at all,,, cos sometimes they like being like that. But when there's a heat source , they don't have to , to keep warm. The more I read this thread, all I see is excuses for not having additional heat...... I've not yet read one REAL reason for not having it.... You all say the same thing . So what's Evrybody so scared of with added heat.......? Is it the bill??
