I watched something on tv a while ago,,,,about trees that produce nuts,,being better for the land than growing wheat,,,also the flour from the nuts being better for us ,,,especially with all the problems folk have with wheat, gluten ect... And I'm sure more flour was produced from a smaller area of trees,, than acres of fields,,, But then I suppose bread made from nut flower,,,wouldn't be as nice tasting to us wheat lovers

With this scandal concerning vw and the emissions from Diesel engines ,,,,the top fella has resigned,,,fair enough,,, But who the feck is going to prison ,,,,this is a massive fraud,,trying to trick the whole world,,,and must have involved a lot of people,,,,but no mention yet of someone being brought to book,,,,?

Changing the subject slightly.... anybody see the news yesterday,,, the police in Calais beating ,,and gassing the iligal emigrants,, then smashing up tents ect.... What a complete waste of time and money,,, not to mention no need for that.... Now I don't want them here same as everyone else,,, but doing what they did achieved nothing ,,,they just went and set up camp elsewhere,,, there not addressing the issue... To be fair my miniature hunting partner vin has had his for years,,,and never had a problem,,,,,mind you he only weighs 10 stone,,,,,and I'm a pound or two heavier ,,,,maybe that's why I feck them all up,,,doh

Yeh I liked mine when I first had them,,,very comfy and warm,,,but I disagree on the support bit,,,they are a very soft rubber,,,with little ankle support .... Mine also split,,on both Welles where the heel ,,joined the upper, after 18 month

Plenty of threads on the clothing section... I've tried most of the expensive ones,,,and had problems with them all.. I'm now on a pair of £20 jobs from decathlon,,,and I honestly rate them,,,the are comfy with good support ,,,no neoprene ,,wich can be good in warm weather,,,but in minus temps,,,you just wear good socks

You tried any of the recipes out yet tomo? I've done 3 so far & have all been really good ;-) No mate,,I'm terrible for watching cooking shows,,and not trying anything,,,although I usually end up in the kitchen getting a bowl of cereal ,,cos the program made me hungry,,and it's quick to put weatabix in bowl,,,lol
