    i recon clematis is a bit of a waste of time....had one round the front door of the cottage....but it flowers for such a short time just a few week....the rest of the time its just a green weed ..... recon roses are best...you can just lkeep dead heading them and it flowers for ages

    that story was only a few year ago mate.... but i know what you mean ..in general the numbers are getting lower throughout the british isles ...which is a bloody shame and i think us older lads like to look back with a bit of nostalgia ..

    funny you say that mate....i have similar tale.... two young lads that often come with me hunting would drop of at my house early in the morning...Andrew reynolds hunting ...you may have seen his youtube channel... so i open my back door and there on my drive is the biggest pile of bunnys.....there was 140 something....they caught them with two lurcher bitches ...that night....for gods sake i had to sort them all out and get them in my freezer all nice and neat....lol

    still a great score mate... theres been a few lads up and down the country that have taken the ton with a single dog...not me personally but some lads that i know and been out with on occasions... and for some lads they have had a long weekend at it ...and lamped 3 nights on the bounce and taken some right big bags...dedicated lads with fit dogs and plenty of bunnys to go at...

    did you never go back mate and try again?? i know jim who used to be on here as terryjones....and loftie from moochers have both done the tone with a single dog ....im sure they had 300 odd over 3-4 days on some other islands ...jim had some good photos of the catch..
