    one of my permissions has plenty black's. there generaly off limits!!!! the farmer "like the look of them"!!!!! mental he hates bunnies! there are also quite a few with white colars, backs and stripes to the face! we were told last year to "cull a few of those blacks" as there was heaps of them will try dig out some pics! regards P

    So back home, a brew and some scones, yummy, then get rifle out and give it an oily rag after last nights lamping session, 3 bunnies, LED Lenser gunlight is very impressive on spot focus, have also found that bunnies can see the apparently invisible laser beam from my range finder, as i pinged a bunny at distance a few times just to make sure I had the correct reading and the rabbit bolted on the 3rd ping of the laser, that was at 65 yards, hmmmm. sorry to highjack the thread but what led lenser did you get. i just got the P7 and only tried it once but really impressed! regards P

    Tell you what its a nightmare getting a hedgehog out, Bit of subject but a trick i was taught as a very young lad! if you pinch the skin on the forehead of the hedgehog and hold it by this bit of skin the hedgehog will open up from its ball! not always fully but it does work! has anyone else tried this or heard of it before?? regards P

    this sounds like a good deal/package to me. if i had the cash i would be comming for sure. with regards the fishing. what kinds of fish and to what size would be realistict to catch. if i was going all that way i would really like to catch something we cant catch in the uk as well as any we have here. some of the shooting quary look interesting. please keep us posted as to how this goes!! regards P

    me and my shooting pal have had 112 rabbits this year so far and a small handfull of ferrals couple of woody's and a heap of corvids! the rabbit number is actualy very poor due to our efforts last year! we were getting 60 to 100 bags in one sitting through the day then night last year (wires and fenns working there to). struggling to get 20 in a sitting this year. i must say that there is a lot of young kits in those bags as its a clearance permission. this place was simply MOVING with bunnies that had never seen a lamp never heard a BSA R-10/ultra and never seen there mates being blowled

    great work! mine get left untill the end of the year when we can sell them! get a decent price for them but decem/jan time! sp from me for one in 10 min! regards P

    the more crows decoys you have the better. when we started we only had a few but used pigeons to add to the numbers and replaced them with shot crows when we got a few. freeze some if you are short of deecoys. there not the best but do work if your stuck. keep very well hidden as already stated! regards P

    we do heaps of damage on the cut hay/silage every year up here! the crow seem to love it but not so many pigeons. we also seem to do pretty well just after the hay has been baled. another farmer asks us up when his silage has been wrapped (in the black plastic) he had a heap of bales pecked by crow the holes allowed in water and spoiled them so we go up and hive them the good news before he takes them in and stacks and nets them. good bags there to. thats about now up where we are! get in the blind/hide as early as possible. wear camo and keep very well hidden with no movement till t

    hi rather than trying to pull them into a certain area i just watch them and find out where they go naturally and have them there, at there warren and enroute to there feeding area! carrots are good bait in traps etc so maybe if you pre baited an area close by they might go there but i have never tried! regards and good luck

    between me and two mates one driving 2 shooting over a sixteen hour session last year we got 112! that was stalking/static until dark then lamping at night! we took 145 5 weeks later from the same permission with the rimmy's! this place was over run with them between us and a very hard winter there pretty thin on the ground now. have struggled to get 100 from the same place this year! no pics of that night but i have some of large bags somewhere! regards P

    great work there buddy. good to see you getting out for a while. a SMALL amount of uv paint around the wing areas (where the crow decoys are blue) also helps a lot. Regards P

    one of the farmers was driving me about in the landy when i spotted a rabbit. pulled out of the shot and said to him "its just a baby hardly even quarter sized"........ swears curses red faced and very p****d off to say the least. "shoot the rabbit or get off my land" was all that he managed to say between swears. took me a good while to calm him down. never passed up a bunnie shot on his land after that! regards and good hunting P

    i used to shoot rimfires at a small bore rifle club many years ago. they had "club guns" several of these were vostok. they were very accurate and well built! great find great project! regards P
