  2. Thats lovely Byron, great to capture him with his mouth open. Dawn.
  3. I had a "bad back" for many years, but was made worse by a car accident about 4yrs ago. I then had a bout of Sciatica whcih was crippling. It flared again last May, the doc was crap, wouldnt refer me, I ended up in A&E unable to stand. Due to all the waiting, I paid to see a private consultant to "jump the queue", he thought I had a herniated disc (prolapse) The wait on the NHS in my area for an MRI scan was 3 months, the wait in the BUPA hospital? an hour an half!!! Had it done there and then. Confirmed disc prolapse, serious pressure on the sciatic nerve pushing it onto the spin
  4. They did show pics of Hawks pouncing on prey, you never know!
  5. You keep Lions in cages, expect them to perform tricks and then shoot the bugger when its had enough!! Id of shot the bloke and released the Lion!

  12. Started cropping up here last week, like to see them, lovely images boys!
  13. Small cats bury it, but I saw a Tiger do a poo today, he didnt bury it and it was BIG!!!!!
  14. Thanks Manda. I agree about the Cats escaping, but if we listen to most talk now, we have to assume that these animals are breeding, otherwise, my word would they be old!!!! Also, image how many must still be kept as "pets" or be escaping from collections. Baring in mind, these animals in collections, Zoos etc.. will be used to the presence of Humans, I still find it weird that they escape every single opportunity to provide proof to the doubting Thomas's like me! No hunter, no wldlife expert, no fur trapper from Canada, nobody full stop, can provide unrefuted proof they are living in
  15. i agree.......but your being pedantic, if people want to call em "big" cats whatever........does it matter they are bigger than moggies, there may be black one's , there maybe hybrids...........................i do know they are out there though Well I dont think Im being pedantic, just honest, if I saw a Bengal walking across a field, I wouldnt say it was a big Cat, If I saw a Tiger, I would!!
  16. Fair comment, but they are not BIG Cats either!! They are small wild Cats. The most common reported sightings are of "black" Panthers. Based on that, these sightings are indeed of "big" Cats, Leopards at that!
  17. I do like the breed Manda, just not the "pet" for everyone. They are as you say not a Cat to be fussed over. Incredibly agile, beautiful Cats. This is my 12mth chocolate British Shorthair. He weighs in excess of 20lb now, that pic was about 2 months ago. I can realistically see people getting some domestic breeds confused with other Cats, they all move the same, they can all look the same. Hi Compo. Im not anymore up for there being "big" Cats in the wild, however I have ALWAYS said there are probably domesticated "wild" look a likes that may well be. A Cat doesnt have to be bi
  18. Well done you!! Great shot.
  19. Just to say, Bengal, Ashera and Savannah Cats are all "domestic" but are all notoriously difficult to keep in. They climb and are relatively "wild" in their behaviour compared to other domestic Cats. Bengal rescue has the biggest problem of all pedigree Cat breeds, for finding them homes, they are inundated with Cats that try to escape and act "wild." Its very likely, that many of this "type" have escaped and indeed do live as wild Cats.
