    Thanks Doxhope. All of them were taken behind glass. They have some lovely European lynx's but the reflections were that bad I didnt get a decent shot at all.

    Cheers BB. I only crop and perhaps sharpen in some instances. I have photoshop, can just about open it! Im not keen on editing etc.. I want to learn how to do it right in the first place. Well thats the idea anyway!! I add the copyright in a basic image suite.

    Is he thin or fit? My young male is extremely fit, very active and rock hard in condition. Is your dog like this, or does he lack condition?

    Sorry Gambler, I misunderstood what your wrote. I reckon you get around 10/12 on a maximum burst in RAW, probably 5 frames per second on high speed setting, perhaps a little less. A lot depends on your CF card, the write speed etc..

    You get the same frames per second Gambler on high speed. I use the software that came with the camera, the Canon photo professional. Thanks for your comments. Dawn.

    Thanks all. I think Ill always use RAW now Donkey, the quality is better, apart from having to convert them later to JPEG, I find them much better. Doxhope. I have a TIFF setting too, I know a lot of people use this when printing large prints etc... so would fit with what you say. The only set back with RAW is not getting so many on a CF card.

    Oh right. Twas something a couple different folk told me, both of whom run field trials, one with labs and one with Cockers. Dont know him personally, although have had "dealings" of sorts with him, cant say I am impressed to say the least!

    Glad you like it WH, I love mine. I found it heavier and bigger, but actually prefer that to the 400D as it seems easier to handle. Look forward to seeing some results.

    I bought the ET 60 and the EW 7811 Rich. They make a HUGE difference in brght sunlight, stop the flare from the sun.
