Do you keep you lens hoods on the lenses when you arent using them? (reversed on the lens) Looks a bit untidy, but saves stroring them elsewhere and less to carry. WHat about you? Dawn.

I absolutely agree with you, but like I say a dog show is a beauty contest. I think that castration and spaying is acceptable now is because some people had bitches spayed and didnt get permission to show them (how it used to be, or the dog needed to have had registered progeny) in some breeds, like Shelties, Collies, people were known to have had bitches spayed as it improved their coats, making them thicker and more desirable etc.. Some breeds however, spaying and castration can ruin a coat, like a Spaniel for example. With not being able to tell if a bitch was spayed it was decided

That is incorrect. You CAN show a spayed or castrated dog without special permission at ANY KC show. Dog showing regardless of whether its a Terrier show or a KC champ show, is a beauty contest, nothing else at all, and as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, in this case the judge, what pleases his eye will win. I love the none exaggerated appearance, nothing altered, just a dog, as it is. I wish her the best of luck with him.

Yes I agree the money is rubbish. Re the judging. There is little doubt some of it is very wrong, but as Farlap says, its a minority rather than the majority. My friends Shib Inu won the group yesterday, never in a million years would she of dreamt of that, she was thoroughly delighted, but I dont think the American Pot Noodles owner was!!!! Well done on your placings with your IG's Little Lurchers!

Hi blue boy. Its great this time of year its VERY quiet for boarders. We are licenced for 116 Dog and 42 Cats, we rarely take above 60-70 Dogs in peak times.

Well ok, there are boarding kennels. We have quarry tiles in one block, and those are ceramic tiles in that block. The dividers are brick built walls, 3ft high with a mesh panel on top. The other block has full height brick wall dividers and also has outside runs. A pic. I think there are 28 kennels in the inside block and 26 in the other.

dont ususally mix business with pleasure on sites, but felt i wanted to promote them! I have had 2 large trekkers and a lens trekker for 10 years now. They are used commercially on a daily basis going all over the world to inhospitable places not to mention the worst the uk can throw at them. i can get three D2x bodies and 3 lenses as well as all my clobber in one of them. cant rate them highly enough. i looked at some of their new smaller models when i was at Focus (NEC) last week and there was one called a flipside 300 I think that would do for just taking a small amount of kit but with a 2
