As walshie said; but if you has said "where it's legal", it may have not been locked, but I wouldn't bet on it.

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I just knew there would be people defending him ! How about when that little black lass was shot dead by scum like this just because she was walking by ? In my opinion, the police did the right thing, and I for one won't miss him.
-
I don't support any team, Max, simply adding my thoughts to a thread. But I think this proves something I said earlier; Sunderland fans worry to much about Newcastle ! Newcastle will probably finish mid-table, Sunderland will probably get relegated, yet most Sunderland fans will find great consolation in talking about beating Newcastle, even when they are in the Championship.
-
Newcastle fans never wanted Fat Sam or the awful football he plays ! And even one of the worst people associated with football, Mike Ashley , saw straight through him and sacked him, (and his 40 odd backroom staff), a week after he took over. How on earth did he get another Premiership job ?

What's the difference between West Ham and a tea bag ? Tea bag stays in the Cup longer !!

Does The Shape Of A Dog Affect Its Performance?
Brigzy replied to squab's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Conformation is very important, weather it's in Lurchers, Whippets, Greyhounds or Race Horses. Some will say "handsome is as handsome do'es", but a dog with good conformation will always be better than a dog with bad points. -
I normally have a flask of coffee and a pasty, oh !! you mean the dogs ? Get a grip mate !!
-
Keith Vaz, MP, was at the airport to welcome the first plane load of them, shaking hands and buying them coffee !! Well, they are future Labour voters after all !!!!!!
-
Maxhardcore, Perhaps one of the mods will look at the post and either confirm you said 400 yards or 300 yards; either way it is a ridiculus statement !
-
I think it was Maxhardcore talking about 400 yard slips. The nearest track record to 400 yards I can find is 415 metres at Harlow at 25.5 seconds, so if running at night on rough ground, not a track, my estimate isn't far out. I reckon you would have a champ if it could do 400 yards in 20 seconds !!! Anyhow, my point was that it would take a fair while for a Lurcher to get up on it's quarry at that distance, even if you could see it that far away.
-
Someone on the other thread mentioned 400 yard slips; well a greyhound at full speed would take about 25-30 seconds just to get up to the quarry !! I think some people exaggerate the lamping distances, just as some of the coursing lads exaggerate the times of the courses.

The three main political parties have their core vote, which never really changes bar a percentage or two, so they need the immigrant, (muslim) vote to make the difference between winning and loosing. So none of them will speak out about this shit ! The only way out of this country being Islamitised is to vote UKIP.

I'm not worried about the real world, Max, as there is nothing I can do about it; but I do live in it. If your local soccer team is so important in your life, as it appears to be on here, then that's up to you. I prefer to put my energy into bettering my families and my life.
-
Max, judging by this thread, I assume you are a pre pubescent teenager, who thinks more of his local soccer team than what happens in the real world ? Your team Sunderland, are rock bottom of the Premier League and are the bookies favourite for relegation ! Gnash appears to be a "Cockney Wide Boy Wannabee", who has read about or heard about the "Faces" of yesteryear, and is looking at the world, (West Ham), through claret and blue tinted glasses !! Nothing wrong with that... It has kept some of us amused for a few pages !!
-
Their defence was that it was an act of war; well, they are British, so they should also have been charged with treason !!!
-
So you gave me a tip for a dog that had already ran ????? Strange.......
-
whats NCL, cant find that or the dog on any of todays cards ?
-
It's great that some one supports their local team; but your support seems to border on insanity ! If you are so sure of the seasons outcome for Sunderland, I advise you to get along to your local betting shop and have a bet on what you seem so sure of ! But take a look at the smile on the bookies face as they take your bet !
-
Di Cannio should never work in football again after what he did to Sunderland !! He took a poor Premier team and sold it's best players and bought 10, 12, very poor Continental "players" who will take the team into the Championship, and possibly lower !! Who's to blame ? The owners, of course !!
-
Newcastle/Southampton, two decent teams in a score draw....... West Ham/Sunderland, two very poor teams in a bore draw ; says it all, I suppose.
-
I'll give you a fiver for the claret jug !! LOL !!

A more up to date rivalry between Sunderland and Newcastle was, I think, in the 70's or 80's, when the "Shelter Deck" ship yard/shipbuilding was awarded to the Wear, purely because of political reasons. Sunderland simply didn't have the skilled personnel, in numbers, to complete the contract, and to the huge embarrassment to Sunderland, had to contract welders, roofers, riggers, etc, from the Tyne yards to bring the contract in on time. They also had to bring in specialist welders who happened to be Native Americans ! The contract was beset by union disputes, which were basically to do with Th

There are many reasons behind the Newcastle/Sunderland rivalry, and they go way beyond football. When coal was starting to be mined in big quantities in the North East, King Edward 1, (who had a vested interest in Newcastle Tyne Port), decreed coal could only be exported from Newcastle, and not Sunderland, who's owners were the Durham Prince Bishops. Because of this Newcastle became one of the richest cities in England, while Sunderland got poorer. Centuries later, but still involving Kings, coal and Ports, during the Civil War, Newcastle were staunch supporters of Charles 1, while Su

They simply run a vin check, and if the registered owner is from out the county, motors full of running dogs, etc, they put two and two together and come up with poacher ! If the owner is local, they wouldn't pull you.
