Sometimes(not in all cases) its just easier to let em have access so they can satisfy their curiosity. Forever puttin em off can sometimes come across as though you have something to hide. When they are wet?? Do you not rub/dry your dog down before bedding it down after a hard day/night ? plus my dog run has a good roof on so when it rains the pen dont get wet.

Carpet through the summer..then as it gets colder i give em each a double quilt...never had any problems with cold dogs...although having a good well insulated draught free kennel is just as important as the bedding imo..atb stabba

Ive used just about every lamp thats been available at the time over the years...since the introduction of the lightforce range there is no other lamp out there that can compete. Personally i prefer the Striker over the Blitz simply because i find it easier to handle. To me the blitz cas be a bit cumbersome when climbing fences and gates and such. Also using a Blitz from a vehicle causes a severe amount of drag when your lamping at speed. So to sum up i prefer the Striker over the Blitz not because of beam length/strength but purely for comfort reasons...atb stabba Edited to add...ive never s
