Can you break a buck rabbits neck though Jamie? Hahha! Why are people talking so much about a jacker? Wether its a minshaw, hancock, blackwater if its jacked its not worth a carrot and i wouldnt be talking about it for 20 odd pages! There not robots at the end of the day as much as folk like to think they are! Giros roughly seen 6/7 minshaws (collie lurchers) and 3 are jackers to owned by same fella and another out of a jacker! Says it all really i must be lucky ive owned a few so as my dad and brother only 2 have been shit one bred by the man who owned two jackers and the other

One of your grey's had a similar injury round about the time we had Nikey and Lewis, was it the crash or westmead pups, excuse me if i'm wrong for some reason i'm thinking it was one of them? How did that pup turn out? And was it visible to see the injury? The pup i seen today seemed ok very lively and jumping about, with just a slight limp, only been over a week aswel? So hopefully not as bad as the vets made out? Fingers crossed.

My dad once had an old collie x alsation called Mist, she once went onto the frozen pond and fell under the ice, no matter how much he liked the dog he wasn't going to risking his life for a dog... So he had to go home only for 3 days later the bitch arrived back home? :blink:He was on the front of The Sun and everything haha!! God no's what happened, I doubt he'll ever find out but it really was strange, i'll ask him if he still as the news paper clipping! She was a really clever dog she used to wait outside the pub for my granda all day, and even used to wait outside the shop waiting for my -
Here's a few pics i'm proud and more importantly proud of the bitch. Ginny day i got her of Joe. Getting her fit... Was absolute gutted when I got her took of me!! I've got a written diary with what i caught with her and looking back, the poor little thing was hardly in the kennel! Sure she loved every minute of it! Here's my bitch now she' a pleasure to own and work. (All game taken legal with permission of landowner.)

Discraceful that!! Why anyone would advertise a pup with a pic like that is beyond me.

whats your preference? dog or bitch?
Ginny Spinner replied to deerhoundgreyhound's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I keep both and to be honest none of them are headstrong. Bitches do my head in when their in season, and dogs do my head in pissing on every corner, fence, lampost there is haha. And sniffing when there's been a bitch nocking about. So to me i don't think it really matter's everyone as there own personal prefrence. -

Surely the reason why you must be gettin more up the dales is because there is more rabbits? Not because they are easier? You go the dales catch 52 out of 65, right? You go norfolk well recently shaun went and got 23 out of 25? So the dogs as got a better catch rate down south that up north? I'm sure if there was the same amount of rabbits in norfolk as there is in the dale's then big bags would be possible? you go all night at norfolk and struggle to catch 50. You go the dales for 4 hours and run 100+? So that proves thers more rabbits in the dales than norfolk? And the rabbits aren't harder -
