The night we got caught by the old bill up scotland we where running on the old scottish hare coursing fields and believe me they are big fields. And its fair to say the dog's got a sack full. First time I went the dales was 3 year ago, Believe me i'm not really bothered what type of field it is i'll think about that after ive slipped the dog. My dad's mate ran Chester in the day a

  7. Glad you'se like the pup mate. I'm pretty sure she'll do ok for you. The bitch is a good little lamping bitch got no pictures of it along side any game because we don't own it a lad over the road does and he's not one for taking pictures anyways. And i've done most of the lamping with Don and he's absolute bang on, got a dog out of him my self and he's doing good in his first season aswell. We'll definetly have to do the long drive again and me and my brother frankel will show you the dog's grafting Good luck with the pup. I'm glad they've all got good homes mate.

  13. I always feed my dogs early afternoon between 1-3pm this is when we'll be out after midnight giving it plenty of time to digest. If running abit early on permission would get them out first thing and feed them in the morning. Always feed them when i get in and their right to go the next night! I would never feed just before running the dog! Although its been known while qualifying a greyhound
  14. It all depends on what you choose to do with it in the future? If you say you lamp most your dogs then i cant see the problem? But if you got the coursing bred dog to do the daytime then i'd hold back until you start taking it out daytime. Starting it off lamping could encourage it to pull up at fences and not go into cover and you'll need a dog to do go into cover through the day! Hope this helps
