You sure? A couple seem to think lurcher/collie is the way to go. Not to sure why. Maybe all the minshaw bitchs where no good an not worth breeding from or some people have not a clue on how to keep a line. There is NO certain type all different shapes an sizes in all honesty what I have learnt from reading this is the people breeding them have not got a clue what they are getting when breeding. I enjoyed the thread hope it carrys on. An max your wasteing your time you can't educate or polish turds. Not too sure why? Maybe the reason being to get a good deer/ lamping rabbit dog! Don's s

Ginny is Jack x Flash Flash is Moscow x Jess Jess is a mix of deerhound/grey/bull. I think? I no Ginny is 3/4 identical breeding with Jack and Moscow being litter brothers.

Tbh i have never giving it real thought what i'd put over Swift. I think something like her and Eddie would gel well together... Keeping the blood there but adding that extra bit of heart from the bull that she lacks for things with teeth. I also think Don or Reggie would throw a nice pup over Sox. They'd level out just nice putting the more solidee build and wind in from the collie side. None of the above is something thats seriously going to happen any time soon just what i think what would throw a nice pup. And in theory add the bit extra to the pups. But the mating i am definet

Its been done before and its worked mate. Seems to be paying off again. Also these dogs are bred for stamina and lamping... Collie v Grey only going to be one winner when it comes to stamina and so on. Also the dog thats covered these collie bitches certainly dont lack in the speed department. So they work well for what we want mate

Cant beat the good old lurcher to lurcher imo. I've got both one out of a straight grey and my other 2 are lurcher/lurcher. The one out of the grey is keen as mustard probly abit too keen on a few ocassions its just ran straight into fences, walls or gates haha! But it does lack abit in the wind department and isn't the best of turner. Also abit light framed for my liking. I'd put this down to the greyhound. But she is very nippy... Not as fast as swift though... So in theory i'd say the saluki lurcher has been more benifical than the pure grey for speed and size... Swift 26" Sox

that eddie and maurice are two fine looking dogs, was it around 1/4 bull in them both or just maurice? I think you said 1/4 earlier in the thread i might be wrong, cheers maurice is ginnys brother so not a quater there. eddie is out of the half bull.

Aye,no sun tans,rambo wanabees and fecking tattoo's back then Tomo suntans at summer, lurchers in winter ibiza in september though! so until then its going to be eat, work, dogs, train, sleep. when are you in ibiza tomo? swift with a retrieved hare january time this must of been early season still got tan haha

was good in day mate had few hares and deer with it legally. was as fast as my mates saluki/whip/grey and that could shift. didn't mind stufd that bit back either. best dog i've ever owned we had it and chester out two nights on trot and Ginny ran toe to toe with it. i've never seen a sog with as much wind.

i'll gaurantee Sox wont jack it will collapse before it jacks! a jacker in my eyes is a dog like lady that wouldnt run a rabbit on the dales haha!! kettle calling pot black springs to mind! i've got my next breeding plan sorted and it involves maurice i'm sure these pups will be right up your street joe and if all gos to plan theres couple pups there for you Joe.
