    talking of lazy russells i have a russell here that wont really entertain rabbits but if it was a red one in a hole it would of flew in................just because dog dont bush dont mean it wont do anything else ,..........but your a little stuck if its just bushing rabbits lol when the others put one up he will get excited and try and get it ,.........but other than that its a lazy mother,,,lol

    im not disputing anything you have said just adding ,..............ive probably seen as many daytime as i have on the lamp ,..or nearly as many ...........but i think its up to the dog to turn them away from cover and maybe more natural for a collie but normal to a dog doing it all the time............its hard to get the balance right as you have the staying power , turning, cunning ness of th collie x and you have the jaw , the punishment threshold and the die hard attributes of the bull ,........but then too much of either breed in a lurcher will have its down falls ...........i guess every

    hang on a minute ,....there is a huge difference between daytime and night time ........and ive seen footage of the wrecking crew stuff but maybe not enough to make a valid opionion......anyway i bet those dogs on hunting by day would put just as many lamped foxes in the bag..........be it paired up or single ,........a fox under the lamp may be fresh but the odds are more against reynard.............and dogs finding / tracking a fox by day and finishing them are exceptional as most lurchers wouldnt do that and we have to remember that they push a fresh fox to there limit and sometimes when fo
